WOW... Huge story for me personally...Anti war activist Natalie Maines and keep the missles rocking Toby keith are putting their differences to the side in respect for the global warming issue.. Sources have announced the 2 have teamed up with Al Gore and will run TV commercial type messages that they will perform on.. Maybe not a big deal to some people but try to imagine if it had said Shania was teaming up with Toby Keith to do the adds... For me, seeing Natalie is almost exciting as if it was Shania herself... WOW...Forget the Natalie/Toby makeup rumour...Just the opposite...Natalie is still screaming..What are we doing there but securing oil intrests while Toby is backing more troops... Well according to Al Gore camp that is exactly why he went after them to team up as friends in a non partisan cause to fight global warming in the soon to be released TV ads.. The thinking is if these 2 can put aside their differnces..We all can... Pretty cool concept

Lol..No, I was serious. I really do have 'F.U.T.K' T-shirts because I also love Natalie Maines and the Dixie Chicks. I had some 'F.U.T.K' T-shirts printed after I bought the 'Shut up and sing' dvd..lol! I love them and was totally against Toby Keith for such a long time because of the jokes he made about Natalie after her 'Comment' at Sheperd's Bush. The way I see it, she only stated her opinion but was shot down for it. I'm glad she kicked back with 'I'm not ready to make nice' though - another personal fave of mine.

OH BABY.... First of all...You are a VERY brave man...Second you are an open minded genius...You will likely be treated with kid gloves on this because you are new here. Actually, I'm not really into beef and red meats, but I LOVE beer....ahh, ice cold beer.....That's just reminded me, I'm going out down town tomorrow after a trip to London with work..I can't wait now! lol!
Oh and no, I didn't see them at Sheperds Bush because I'd not even heard of the Dixie Chicks until last year when a friend sent me and mp3 of 'I'm not ready to make nice'. It soon became one of my favourite songs, so I watched the video. From the video, I realised that there must be a story to accompany the song, so I investigated the Dixie Chicks and found out about everything. I just felt an immediate bond with them. I could totally relate to the song on a personal level too, thus I became a huge fan.
