I thought of sharing this with you. Last week I wrote an email to the Swiss Red Cross asking if Shania was going to attend this year. They answered me that she's planning to go there. The event will be on the 24th of May and it will take place in Geneva, Switzerland.

As reported a few days ago, Shania will once again attend this year's Swiss Red Cross Gala. It will be held on Saturday, May 24 in Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland. I guess UP UP UP did deserve posting of the week after all...NICE CALL.... Having said that, I personally have a problem getting all too excited about it.. Angie indicated that this is something she does as part of her personal life and really nothing to do with her carreer.  I am certainly happy to see her getting off the ranch a bit just as I was with the Larry King thing but when you really do a reality check she is basically going out for dinner.. Sure along way from music....Bob

Wow, last year, Godmother Honorary Patron, now this year she'll be the Honorary President! Nice!

As it is a Brazilian theme, I wonder what colorful dress Shania will end up wearing, lol...

Nice to know she will do this again.

Being a Brazilian theme, ladies are to wear long colorful dresses. I too am curious to see what bright and wild outfit Shania will be wearing, lol. Hopefully some word too.

 I would love to see Shania wear something sexy and wild.  biggrin  But last year's theme was a cowboy theme, and Shania didn't really dress like a cowgirl, beyond wearing a cowboy hat.  So I'm not getting my hopes up.  But maybe she'll surprise us!

But these ladies also have to be dressed accordingly and proper. No lady had the full cowgirl look last year, no jeans, no belt buckles. Shania was the only one I recall with such a hat and stylish cowgirl like boots.
