I know how all you guys feel.  I feel the same way.  It's so sad.

lulu, if true, I too think she deserves better, she deserves to be loved as much as she loves and I guess Mutt was not that person. I just don't get it either.  Never in a million years whould I have expected such a story to come out.  I was sure they'd last.

Shania seems like a sweet caring nurturing woman and it seemed she and Mutt had such a good old fashioned thing going.  What happended to the spiritual guy?  I always thought if he was like so, why the divorces?  Now again.  Now it's a story much like when you turn the tv on and watch those shows.  Everything is about cheating, friends backstabbing and turning around and doing wrong.  Where is this world heading?

to marie ann....and when it said that her and mutt were always holding hands, and everthing! He's such a douche wtf? What a lame excuse ! the whole getting on his nerves cuz of the furniture....It's kinda what women do, they choose where the furniture goes deal with it! at least that's how it is in my house, what a baby! he will never have a long lasting healthy relationship, i hope he dies alone,, im tired of thinking he might have a good reason, he's just a straight up cheater.

I'm just happy to hear Shania s being active playin tennis, riding horses and being close to Eja.  Plus writing for therapy.  It was cute to hear Eja eats chickpeas like other kids eat candy.

Bob, Dorset is as close to the source as possible.  Lovely village on the lake such a few kms east of Huntsville.  Dorset, place of residence of course.  I hope you do well in searching.

Supposedly he's filing for divorce because he fell out of love for her and they grew apart. I don't think Shania would let that ever happen, but he seems to not know what he wants to do. I understand, but I don't. It confuses me, and I'll bet it confuses her too.

I have come to terms with the facts that Mutt cheated on Shania. People magazine would never make such a claim if they were not sure especially by naming the other women Marie-Ann. I always wondered what Mutt did when Shania was on tour. He would visit a bit but just that a bit. How cozy for him, Marie-Ann there to stroke his ego. Both of them now filing for divorce. Cozy is'nt it? I know Shania sacrificed a lot for Mutt. She always talked about her love for him this is so sad. Mutt though cannot stay in a marriage. It must have been such a thrill for both of them sneaking behind their spouses backs. I wonder if being together now has the same rush? A close friend of mine went through a divorce because he had cheated on her. The reason he gave me was he was tired of her (his wife) and having to discuss money and whatever. So he found a women who he did not have to discuss any issues with. He also said it was real exciting having the affair. Later on he dumped her...maybe because he no longer had the thrill of sneaking behind someones back. Jim and I wondered about Mutt, this being his 3rd marriage and all. We really hoped for the best. I truly hope one day Shania meets someone who will love her as she needs to be loved as a women with a big heart.

For those of you in Canada, Shania is on the cover of the June 16 issue of HELLO! Canada. Pick up a copy of this week's magazine to see Shania as she heads home to the comfort of family and friends after splitting from her music producer husband. If anyone in Canada can scan the article and email it to me I'd appreciate it very much!

On AOL there is a brief interview with her husband Frederick (Marie-Ann's husband that is) and basically he confirmed that they would take family vacations together. When asked what he thought of Mutt he simply said "I will not comment on what I think of him". They also said divorce is at the stage where they are discussing custody and visitation rights. Marie-Ann and Frederick have a 7 year old daughter together. The fall out from Mutt and Marie-Ann's affair is huge as both families have been affected.

there are some other things that are crossing through my mind about Mutt right now,but if i won't keep them to myself Tommy would have to ban me,and i can understand it.
but i think i don't have to say a word,just the fact that Mutt has cheated on Shania proves right away the he is the biggest FOOL around.
what a loser,he lost a gem right through his hands.

but with all due respect, isn't Enquirer a rag that has post in the past outrageous lies about many celebs,although now we have pictures and names and not the word "alleged", so this is sounds like the truth to me.
Mutt needs a therapist me thinks.

Yeah would the "great" Mutt Lange settle in therapy or better yet an exorcist to suppress his demons inside?

This is pretty low behavior and obviously there are some issues that need addressed. He must be too "perfect" though. (rolling eyes in sarcasm)

For Mutt's previous marriages, he was never around (too busy in the studio). For Shania and Mutt's marriage, she was never around (touring, etc..).

For the first 7 years of their marriage, she was always gone. Then, she came back from tour and they had a baby. Shania and Mutt have been togther a lot over the last 7 years, so this coupled with having a baby is a huge change on a relationship. Yes, both things can add huge joy, but both can add stress to a relationship.

I hope that Shania and Mutt are in marriage counseling and they'll be able to fix what's wrong. Hopefully, they're in the Caribbean and working on their relationship. It sounds like this island is just what they need - seclusion (no family, friends, media, nosey fans, etc..) and peace and quiet.

lol! Got that off my chest. I think Kay must be the only fan feeling this way. Maybe he is the ultimate optimist. Or maybe a politically correct do - gooder.

Anyhow I'm off to watch the football. As England didn't make it through, I'll support Greece instead  Just for Christina.

well this world's gone crazy,Mutt cheated on shania,Greece did better than England in soccer,weird things are happening lately,and then some are saying that i'm crazy to just spend all my money by going in Canada.

btw George i agree shania must be disgusted,she gave it all and took this in return,she won't forgive Mutt,she is a woman with many good qualities that can't forgive cheating, besides maybe Mutt is the one that wanted out just to be free to enjoy his romance with Marie

I'm not really an optimist. I just have faith in some people. It just seems so sad, tragic, and unbelievable that a love like theirs would end like this. I would never have thought this in a million years!

We don't really know if Mutt has had an affair or not and we don't know what went wrong. Mutt's a real easy target to hit at. However, there's two people in their marriage and both people are probably responsible for what went wrong. Sources like People Magazine and the National Enquirer are not reliable sources. When Shania returns to the music scene, that'll be one of the first things asked of her and it'll be asked over and over again. It's a shame that her private life is being exploited on the tabloids. Some things should remain private.

However, if Mutt did cheat on her with her friend (or anyone else), that's really bad and it's Shania's choice whether to forgive him or not. If it happened to me, I wouldn't forigve him. However, I'm not Shania and she may make the same choice or a different choice.

For a friend not to respect another friend's marriage is unforgivable and for a spouse to cheat on a spouse with the spouse's friend - that's just plain disgusting. Infidelity is wrong, but I think it's worse when it involves people that are friends because friends are supposed to be trusted, loyal people.

lulu is right, People magazine is a very legitimate source for celebrity news. I see some fans on other Shania message boards equating People magazine with sleazy tabloids and gossip rags, but this is mostly coming from fans outside of the U.S. who are clueless as to the nature of what People is actually all about.

Remember, Shania herself sat down with People magazine years ago and did a cover story and interview with them, to help promote her Up! album. They were good enough for Shania news then, and they're good enough for Shania news now, even though the news this time is harder to hear for some. But it's still the same organization, and it is still a legitimate one.

and another thing i'd like to add,
IF all this is true, then guys Shania must be feeling like hell,can you imagine if all this had happened to you?? yikes!
horrible,i mean shania took that woman in Canada,she must have confide in her many things about her life,she chose her to be her employee,what a betrayal,like a knife through her heart,dang it.
IF it's true,then Mutt may be a talented guy but he is a trash along with Marie who is blinded by the money.
i wonder how can she be so sure that Mutt will provide for her?? well i guess her husband will.

at times like this i feel so disappointed by the human nature.

Firstly I want to apoligize to Kay for my attack yesterday. He or she has the right to his or her opinion, even if I do believe it is a very naive one. Also sorry Tommy for my language there. I just feel strongly about what Mutt has done. I guess if some people don't want to believe what Mutt has done, that's their choice.

Isn't it weird that Shania would let her son (who is only 6) have a girlfriend? Maybe that situation has more to do with the split than the other crap that's being spread around.

As the saying goes what comes around, goes around, so maybe things will backfire on Mutt in the end. The divorce doesn't seem to be affecting him one bit.
