Hello

Hi,

I joined this forum about a week ago!

I've been a Shania fan since 1993.

The first time I saw her video, "Any Man of Mine", I knew she was destined to be a superstar. biggrin I also knew that Nashville wouldn't roll out the welcoming mat for her! I've followed her career and collected inteviews and magazine articles about her.

I've got all of her albums.  I'm also a fan of Mutt Lange.  I've got the records that he produced for Bryan Adams, Def Leapord, and AC/DC, too.

On her last tour, I saw her in concert.  Both my grandma (over 80 yrs old) and I really enjoyed her music.  I lost my grandma in September.  It took me a long time to listen to Shania's music again.  I start listening again and this "split" crap happens.  furious I was just getting to the point where Shania's music was making me feel better!

Kay

Welcome to the forum Kay.

I know what you mean when there is a time and place that shania's music does wonders.  Right now it is hard knowing of the sad circumstance.  Hopefully we can listen again but it will be tough with the same ear anymore.

I wish you all the better, sorry of your loss.  Sounds like you were very close to your grandma.

Hi Kay, welcome to this board. I too am a fan of Shania and Mutt Lange. They made beautiful music together. This split is causing sadness for all of us. I've been listening to Shania's music...to support her.. I am so sorry about the loss of your Grandma. You've come to the right place to talk about Shania, I think this board is fantastic. Again, welcome

Welcome Kay, you'll find a lot of different people here who all like Shania. Maybe your grandma has met Shania's family in heaven. I'm sure those are happy memories for you that you had with her ,be thankful you had those special moments. I think happiness here on earth is made only in brief moments during one's life. A fragrance that reminds you of someone or someplace,a special song, a smile, something silly, a laugh , a joke, a touch , the cold nose of your dog,a horse running over a field. a dog wagging his tail, a child's laughter, things money can never buy, true love. Things which may be brief but are the very reason for living. I hope this site brings you happiness.
