Her music has always been her salvation to get her through tough times and when certain individuals go on about her pretending to feel sorry for herself (which I don't think she does anyway) that deeply annoys me.

She doesn't want to come across as weak and the fans' support as she has said, is overwhelming.

Shania:
Thank you for taking the time out of your day for posting us a message. It means the world to me that you still very much care and will return stronger. I have been a fan of you since I was 3...I'm now going to be 21. I cannot wait for you to return and I believe time heals all wounds. You can take as much time as you need. We will all be here waiting for you and hope for nothing but the best, and for your happiness.

I feel that you are a very strong woman and will get through this time. We are all here for you with loving and open arms. You have helped a lot of us through some rough times, myself included, and we cannot thank you enough. You now face hurdles of your own - with a broken heart; now it's our turn to be there for you. Like you have said in your recent UP! song..."It can only go up from here" please take that encouragement and remember you are loved all over the world and have a beautiful son who adores and looks up to you, as well as children and people of all ages.

I truly believe in you and support you 110%. I will be waiting and watching patiently, and will be ecstatic when you come back a much stronger woman!
Love

Carrie gave Shania some good advice, that she should hold her head high.

and the fact she is going back to Nashville to record.............they've always hated the fact Mutt was a rock producer, who stepped on their territory.

Are you joking? Wannabe Carrie Underwood giving Shania advice lol!!!!
Shania doesn't need advice from anyone and not from someone she doesn't even know.
I am sure Shania doesn't give a hoot what somebody she doesn't even know says about her marriage.
This would be a story if Dolly or reba gave Shania advice.
But Carrie Underwood? lmao!!!

As they say, the best country songs written come from heartbreak and Shania has plenty to draw from her experience with Mutt.

I think it was nice of Carrie to try to help her, and give her condolences. I laughed my head off when Kenny flirted with her on stage at the CMA's...Probably made her feel good lol and he blushed majorly!

Thanks for the huge laugh. How the heck does a 28  yearold who has never been married going to help a 43 yearold who doesn't even know her.
She should shut her mouth because she has no clue about Shania or her life.
She also shot her  mouth about other celebs getting political.
It is none of her business and she should stay out of it.
Please don't inslult Shania and think Shania would advice from a newbie who doesn't even know her.

Carrie Underwood i believe was the one who told Shania don't go for revenge, but didn't she release a song that she said was about one of her boyfriends that lied and cheated on her?and i know she also made a statement that Tony Romo still calls her, sounds like she's trying to stir up a little trouble there,it seems like she doesn't practice what she preaches

I do find it a bit amusing that Carrie can sing a song about "Before He Cheats" where she smashes up the guys truck and all that, and now she gives advice to a woman of 43 who had been married 14 years. Carrie probably meant it but goes to show you where that manufactured music you don't write yourself takes you.

Shania is not the bitter angry type, she will move on without resorting to "revenge."

I can see your point now from your side of the story. I thought it was Taylor Swift who said that to Shania. Maybe I'm getting the facts wrong lol. But I didn't know she wrote about her boyfriend when she wrote "Before He Cheats."

Yes, that's what I meant by saying one thing in her advice to Shania and in another instance she has manufactured music handed to her, not written by Carrie that sings the lyrics of "Before He Cheats." Two opposite ends of the spectrum.

Yes, I too thought it was ironic that Carrie would give Shania advice considering she release "Before he Cheats" which was her biggest single to date. I think Shania will handle her divorce quietly and I also think she will not say anything bad about the father of her child. Just my 2 cents worth.

Shania wouldn't bad mouth Mutt to the press, whatever hatred she has towards him now, because it wouldn't be fair on Eja and she doesn't want everyone knowing her business about their divorce.

I think Shania's attitude towards this whole split thing has been remarkable. She did it with class.

Both Mutt and Marie-Ann commented on the split, but Shania didn't. And the ONLY time she spoke publicly about was in a message to her fans.

She didn't speak publicly about it in the message. She made not mention of it at all.

How ironic that Underwood's biggest hit uses Shania's name in the song.
Shania overshadows everyone even whens he tries not to.
Imagine when she actually promotes and gets out there, she will be everywhere.

She handled it well and although she did not comment on the split, she however, stated she needed time to mend her broken heart.

I've always admired Shania and the way she is. She's so loving and adores her fans. She IS a very classy lady and I definitely look up to her for it. I think she will do what is best for Eja and herself when it comes to the divorce. I know she will follow her heart and do the right thing.

I too think she won't mention anything about Mutt because he did help create who she is and I think there would be a lot of angered people if she made a rude statement (look at the Dixie Chicks).

And I think she will come out a strong woman. She has something positive in her life, family, friends, her career and most importantly, her son. She has been through so much, and it'll make her a strong woman.

I would say she's ready to come back now, after her appearance at the CMA's.

"As I am sure you have seen or heard; I am going through a rough time personally in my life.   I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you.  Your letters, emails and words of encouragement give me strength.  Your overwhelming support reminds me to smile, no matter how deep the pain and to always be grateful for all the beautiful blessings in my life."

Wonder what she's mentioning here

Shania is hopefully a much stronger person now and I'm sure she will let us all know when she's returning.
