Shania Twain
"hasn't put down her guitar" since the grand ol' curb kickin' she gave hubbie Robert "Mutt" Lange in May, a friend tells People. "The songs are pouring out of her," the friend told People. Considering her lyrics before the split covered territory like, "we're having a party/a party for two," it's safe to say this upcoming album might get a little darker. It may even rival the complicated emotional journey of "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under."

The Timmins, Ontario, native has been in and out of Canada since her 14 year marriage collapsed under allegations of infidelity. While she's been spending much of her time far away from the paparazzi in the Caribbean, she was seen at Toronto's Pearson airport just last weekend. Shania has a cottage on Lake of Bays, north of Toronto and near Algonquin Park, where she holed up with her sister in the days after her split, which could explain her return trip to Canada. The Huntsville-area cottage sounds like a beautiful place to enjoy the peaceful spirit of the wilderness and warm your hands over roaring bonfires fuelled by everything in the house that reminds you of your ex-husband.

Aside from the death grip on her guitar, Shania has coped with her shocking loss through the healing power of underwear. She was recently seen treating herself to a heap of fancy lingerie at Canada's la-dee-da department store Holt Renfrew. Sexy underwear is definitely a home remedy for heartbreak. It's especially effective when combined with a rebound boyfriend.

The 42-year-old has also had her sexiness validated by being voted Best Canadian Legs by Schick Quattro for Women last month. It's not the Order of Canada, but did Henry Morgentaler ever get recognition for his legs? Didn't think so.
