Actually they did a good cover of the song. Every person in that arena knew the words to it by heart.
They also sang that song in their Detroit concer the next night.
Maybe they could cover the song and make it a hit all over again for the teen crowd.

They played this song at all their concerts so far like Detroit,Oklahoma, Millwaulkie
The song is on their set list for the whole tour.
It has become a huge hit with all their fans at all their concerts so far.
Shania and Mutt should allow them to remake it and make it a huge pop hit for the teens.

I totally agree,
but shania didn't allow her songs on American Idol which i really don't understand why,but of course this is a different situation,it'll be great if those boys cover it,and now you-tube is filled with their videos doing that song,very cool.
i think now shania has gain at least the respect of many pre-teen girls.smile

the highlight of the Jonas Brothers tour according to all of their screaming teenage fans is the cover of Shania's song.
they actually do a good rock version take on the song.
Didn't they have to ask Shania and Mutt if they could use the song on their setlist for their tour? It is almost as if the song was song by them originally according to their fans lol!!!
Now all the Jonas brothers fans are going to Shania's video of the song and making comments.
But so many of the young fans knew this song even though they were 8 or 7 when it first came out.

Man!it's feels good to listen to this song sung by a male,he he
and the whole crowd knew Every Single Word of the song.
i have no doubt that shania have gained respect among the Jonas fans,which it's Great.
they have to do a re-edition on their next cd.smile

Also, everytime they sing that song is more cash in for the writers(Mutt and Shania)
Not that they need it, they are both worth hundreds of millions of dollars lol!!!

Madonna, Sting, Janet Jackson: Just a few of the big names who've performed at the MTV Music Video Awards. And now, the Jonas Brothers get ready to join that elite list. ET was on hand for a press conference Friday as the pop trio announced they'll flex their musical muscles at the annual awards show, set to air live September 7 at 9 p.m.

Though the brothers didn't reveal what irresistibly catchy tune in their back catalog they'd play, they did divulge that the song would involve fan interaction.

Then, after bopping through a cover of Shania Twain's "I'm Gonna Get You," they revealed that Joe graduated high school this week!

Add the Jonas Brothers to the list of musicians who want their own fashion line.

"I'm not saying we're the best designers in the world, but being able to make what we like, that would be so cool," oldest sibling Kevin, 20, told me the other day in Hollywood, where the trio was appearing on FNMTV Premieres. "We love dressing up and putting on different kinds of clothes."

And the Jonas empire doesn't end there.

Nick, 15, says a Christmas album is a definite possibility. "We wrote a holiday song, "Girl of My Dreams," and sang it at the Disney parade last year," he said, adding, "It was a lot of funMaybe there is a holiday album in our future."

The immediate future includes finishing up their Burning Up tour, releasing a new album on Aug. 12 and making their debut at MTV's Video Music Awards in September.

However, they did get some time off on Friday night. The brothers were spotted at the Rooney show at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip, watching their former opening act from the balcony and also hanging in the music club's Parish and Foundation rooms.

Kevin, Nick and Joe, 18, returned to the road the following day for their own concert in Denver at the Coors Amphitheatre.

They're hoping Shania Twain joins them on stage one of these days for their cover of her hit, "I'm Gonna Getcha Good."

"It's fun to see the parents when that song comes on, especially the moms," Kevin said. "They're like, 'Oh my God! Wow! They're really playing our favorite song.' "

And why can't you see that happening?
Shania may surprise us hopefully and do alot of things that you wouldn't expect.
And it would be a huge benifit to  her to have all the teen fans of the Jonas Brother be fans of hers too.

I never thought of that, that would be a great idea to give a surprise appearance at the MTV awards.
That would be a way of her  giving something back to the fans also who haven't seen her perform in so long

I have been reading the tons of messages and on youtube about their cover and seen the videos of all their concerts.
The fans just can't stop listening to this song and they love it.It is almost as if it is the Jonas brothers song to them lol!!
They want them to record it.
This song has been the most popular song on their sold out tour. They play it at every single concert and the fans all sing along.

But what do you expect, all Shania songs are memorable and great .
