If Shania is back in the dating game, we should be pleased for her, but I hate it when they start spreading rumors about who she's hooked up with and nothing to back up their source.

First of all we know nothing at all. The divorce could of already been finalized and they won't announce it till much later.In Switzerland everything is sealed and nobody will know anything until they want you to know.
It looks like much of the divorce had been worked out long ago judging by a swiss article that said the property name title has changed to Shania's name only on a couple of Switzerland properties.
It seems to me that that they  did decide on a mutual split long before any so called affair. Much,much more will come out later but none of us really knows what went on in their marriage and if they are divorced already or if they will get back together.
The only thing in the media is what Shania and her side want you to know.

And as far as the media leaving her along, are you kidding me?
The media has left her alone for most of her career and let her live like a hermit for the last 7 years without bothering her.
Even during the split the media has never said anything bad about her.
She is a celeb so don't cry if they report on normal things and she has no right to complain and neither do you.
The media has shown Shania more space and respect than any other celeb.
Shania should thank her lucky stars that the media has left her alone most of the time and let her live her reclusive weird lifestyle in Europe.

maybe they where just friends from over the years and they went out a couple of times,remember Mutt never went out to events with Shania and im sure there were plenty of guys that hung around Shania at these events

I don't believe the rumor, but the media is beginning to run with it. It is now on the front page of Yahoo, and MSNBC is reporting it as well.

Next, it'll be in People, The Enquirer and Star. The only real proof of it being true is if we see a papparazi photo of them together.

He's not going to say anything if they are, because it's a private matter,l but I guess we'll soon find out eventually.

Yes, something just doesn't seem right here.  I don't think the rumors are true, but why wouldn't he deny them?  Especially if he's married?   The whole thing is very odd.

they could have dated, but if the two just happen to bump into one another and just chatted someone would jump to the conclusion there dating

How do you know it is bogus? He could be seperated from his wife too.
He never denied it when confronted. Either he is basking in the glow of being linked to Shania  or it could have some truth to it.
I personally don't believe it.
But I do know they have met before on a few instances.One instance was in 2004 when Shania was co hosting Canada AM.
But you would think Curtis would just deny it if he is married and happy.

Shania dating a hockey player?

Well Gabbers, there's a new dating rumor floating around town. 

According to several sources there's a chance that lovely Canadian lass, Shania Twain, may finally have gotten over the heartache of divorce and started dating a fellow Canadian.  Her rumored man-meat is Toronto Maple Leafs goalie, Curtis Joseph, or Cujo as he's called. 

I kind of find it funny that her ex is known as Mutt and she's possibly dating a Cujo.  Do I see a pattern here?

Some people are starting the denial process, but when Cujo was approached by a reporter he just smiled and headed off to the team bus. 

Hmmm.  Who knows for sure, but I'm happy for her if she's moved on.

Hmmm,i think the clip from the tape recorder it's fake and those guys were just joking.
i mean,listen to it and then tell me,it is shania's voice but it must be from some totally irrelevent interview.
and we all know that Shania is in Switzerland now because of Eja's school

Yes, the "tape" is an obvious parody/fake done as a joke.  I'm beginning to think this whole story is just a big joke that got blown out of proportion.

Bob, you seem to know alot about Cujo.  Is he still married?  Is there any news of a separation or divorce on his part?

This is lovely...Go onto yahoo.com. You'll find the Joe Elliott Stanley Cup screw up and this "Shania Twain dating Cujo?" I think its quite freaky. How they have both stories in the Sports news flicker.



If this isn't true...I hope they are both being good sports and laughing it off.

A lot of people are guessing Shania. I personally do not believe Shania would date a married man but it is strange how this Curtis Joseph rumour started out of the blue.

What are they saying?  That Shania is dating a married hockey player, but that player is NOT Cujo?  And that Cujo is just a cover-up story to hide the name of the real guy she's seeing?

I don't think Shania would get involved with a married guy, because she's already witnessed how an affair can wreck a marriage, I would be very surprised if the story turns out to true. Unless the other (not named) hockey player is going through a separation or divorce himself.

It is well known in hockey circles that Curtis is not happily married,whether that means seperation or divorce, I don't know. Hockey people and media don't get into the personal lives of hockey players and don't give details.
Like I said it is none of your or my business who she dates and you have no clue what she would or wouldn't do.
And if you still believe that thing about Mutt's affair out of the blue then I have a peice of land in Iraq I want to sell you.
Mutt and Shania were leading seperate lives for awhile and Mutt had an affair when they were seperated. Shania is not as shocked or heartbroken as her side wants the fans to believe.
