Just saw someone's post on the CMT message board, who claims that Shania will get her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week. I haven't heard anything to confirm this.
It would make the most sense for Shania to get her star to coincide with promotion for her new album. I don't expect her to get her star until the album is either out or about to come out.
Yeah... I hope she gets her well deserved Star this year too!!! We all know she's worked her butt off... It's about time she gets some recognition!!!
Shania got nominated to receive a star in 2006. Which means Shania has up to 5 years since the date of nomination to have her ceremony. Shania chooses the date and she could of had her ceremony at any time in the last 3 years. Maybe she is waiting for her album promotion.

Shania isn't in Hollywood this week. She's in New York. This person is obviously confused.
How does anyone know where she is? I mean we never hear anything usually until she's already gone. Where did you hear she's in New York and why is there no big press stories? You quoted my post from the beginning of December. That was when Shania was in New York with Frederic, and she then travelled to Flordia with him, as well as Paris. This is all well-documented.
