They aren't going to mention any music since this is a mag for celeb gossip news. They only cover what interests the people like relationships.

I was hopeful and excited, then after reading this article last night and had similar thoughts to 'ups' comments I dropped down to feeling doubtful and despondant. cry

but after more thought I'm 'up' to hopeful again smile

If you are a 'source' close enough to Shania to know what she thinks and feels, and you know 'All the speculation about her relationship irritates her, so she tries not to flaunt it'--you don't then go drawing attention to it by speaking to a gossip mag popularly read by many!
Unless--It is deliberate attantion seeking!! to keep us focused on her---Kinda like reverse psychology!
why--because she is about to [or sometime 'soon'!]release new music. yaay!! smile

Well at least open to her fans. Her fans are the ones who will be there or won't be there when she�has�a� new product.Her fans are the ones who shell out money for her products and on the rare time she does tour.
Just being upfront with them about new music would be a nice chance for her to show some connection with the fans.
But she chooses to do nothing and be colder than ever. Just like her lame generic christmas message.

And� I hardly think shania finds it irritating that there is speculation of her dating Euro geek. She afterall paraded him to the world in the most public way in New York City. She is playing a game with everyone and doesn't really care what people percieve her as or what her fans think.

As for the press, well I guess it works both ways. She needs the press for her career and only is open to the press when she needs to sell something.
Some artists are friendly and nice all the time but Shania is only nice when she needs to promote something.
She doesn't have to tell them anything about her personal life though. She only tells them how poor she was and how tough she had it when she needs to sell something.
She plays the press and her fans like a fiddle.
