CMT Music Awards Now June 16

The 2009 CMT Music Awards, honoring the year's top music videos, will now air Tuesday, June 16, at 8 p.m. ET on CMT.

Previously, June 17 had been announced as the air date. The fan-voted awards show will take place from the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville and will feature performances by Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift, plus Keith Urban, Sugarland and English rock band Def Leppard. Tickets for the 2009 CMT Music Awards will be available beginning Saturday, May 2, at the Sommet Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com and cmt.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.

Yes.  Def Leppard.  You know the group was famous back in the 70's, 80's,90's.  Mutt produced and co-wrote and sang back up on a couple of their biggest albums and also you can hear their ifluence on Shania's Come on Over Album.  Best British rock group tied with the Beatles in my book.  They did that special not too long ago with Taylor Swift.  Check that one out on Cmt if you get the chance or check Youtube it was great.  Taylor sang great with them.  Awesome to see the genres get together.

Actually Angie would confirm this as it would be considered part of her business life.  The Swiss Gala would be personal as it is a charity thing and not an industry type event.  I hope I got that right Angie.  Angie can tell us about the business stuff as it is planned out months in advance because of travel arrangements and scheduling hastles.

Means no she won't be there. I think she is building the suspense and not over exposing herself so that when she does come back to us it will have more of an inmpact. You know she likes the dramatic effect. She knows how badly we want to see her so she is building the excitement so that we will think it is worth the wait as usual. At least this is what I like to think. She knows we will wait as long as it takes. She knows she has the best most loyal fans around.
