I dont know what the problem is here, ppl are freaking out and fighting over what? Shania wearing a ring? She hasnt lied to anybody, and if she has got married so thats a bad thing? It means she is over Mutt how can it be a bad thing Maybe I dont get how these boards work still, I feel like an outsider looking in and it looks weird to me why get so worked up over it? That shania forum site didnt name Tommys, dont take it so personal. I can see where they are comin from that ppl there have not said anything negative about Shania because its not their business, there is no need to freak out over that, its a good attitude to have. Im sure you guys got news from reading that site too.

I agreee! haha i dont get what the big deal is. Lol why does she have to have an aprooval from everyone here to do something?? I think she is a grown woman who is allowed to do whatever she wants. People who are freaking out about her decisions are so lame. Get over yourselfs, I'm pretty sure a 43 year old woman doesnt need aprooval from a bunch of obssessed fans trying to rule her life.

TWAIN 'NOT ENGAGED'

SHANIA TWAIN is not preparing to walk down the aisle again, according to her publicist.
The country singer ended her relationship with producer husband Robert 'Mutt' Lange in May 2008 when his affair with Twain's former assistant and friend, Marie-Anne Thiebaud, was exposed in the press.
Since the split, the star has been linked to Marie-Anne's ex-husband Fred Thiebaud and the pair sparked speculation they were set to get serious after Twain was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger.
But a representative for the star insists she has no plans to get wed again just yet.
The spokesperson says, "She is not engaged or married to Fred."
However, the rep refused to comment on the new piece of jewellery the star was sporting on her engagement finger, according to Radaronline.com.

Shania Twain might have gotten married again. The lucky bed her boots would be under is Frédéric Thiébaud's, ex-husband of her ex-husband's mistress. Shania, or, EILEEN EDWARDS (never forget), and Frédéric were spotted at a bird demonstration in Muskoka, Ontario, wearing matching silver rings, Pop Goes The News reports.

Shania wore her diamond-studded version on THAT finger. For the record, Shania's rep tells Radar that she didn't get married. She just likes deceptive jewellery.

God I can't believe I just read some post, "victim", "victim", "victim". Playing the "victim"..what a joke. She posted two letters and said nothing about the divorce but it seems she plays the "victim". Never understand that, I mean if she whent to Oprah and talk about the divorce saying it all was Mutts fault THEN she played the "victim". Now she just wrote 2 letters to her fans and you seen her sometimes in public. When did she played the "victim"????

I am gonna be writing a long Story about this one. Let me begin ? Shania Twain is not married or engaged for a number of reasons. In her June Blog to fans she indicated that she was hurt I feel as tho you people should be ashamed of your selfs to even think Shania Twain would get married that fast she is a very smart women and I assure you her and the one she was accused of engaged to or married are friends. She has more brains than that to even date him would be wrong. He was married to the women who was sleeping with her husband pretty bad Shania never said anything and all of a sudden she is married like what the hell ? all you fans get a life and wait until Shania gives you the surprise on her birthday herself until then do not believe people.com If it turns out there a couple then so be it I already know what it is ? I was told no album announcement coming well that is crap she will be writing a letter blog explaining when new music is coming also ? She is gonna have a song recorded for her fans with a video of what went on through the year because she is not gonna be a guest Jude on american Idol for nothing she is prompting herself for next year Just wait and see the surprise is bigger than we thinks.

You Know while we are all over here freaking out about the "deceptive jewelry that she's wearing Jennifer Anniston is catching up on the hello Canada poll. I suggest we spend our time going over there and voting her back over the top. For some reason I can't vote anymore it says I have already voted and won't let me. Anybody know how I can vote. Every computer I go to says this and every computer I go to has different results. Weird and frustrating all at the same time. I don't think she is totally over what happened between her and Mutt so I don't believe they are engaged but I do believe she has strong feelings for Fredric and that she feels safe with him because he has never betrayed her trust in the press. He knows how to keep quiet about her and her world. She trusts him to help her protect her private world.

I finally watched ET Canada - and they had NEW photos I had not yet seen, but taken very recently around Huntsville, near Shania's Canadian Lake of Bays home.
They showed Shania and Frederic walking through a parking lot to load their SUV - they were shopping at WalMart and Shoppers Drug Mart. I didn't know there was a WalMart up there, so I'm not sure about that, but I can see her shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart for sure.

Shania Twain’s publicist has slammed rumours that the country singer is ready to take her vows again.

The Canadian star had parted ways with her husband Robert ''Mutt'' Lange last year, after his affair with Twain''s former assistant and friend Marie-Anne Thiebaud was made public.

According to Radaronline.com, the 43-year-old has often been linked to Fred Thiebaud, Marie-Anne''s former husband, reports Contactmusic.

She had sparked engagement rumours after she was seen wearing a ring on her wedding finger, a claim denied by her representative.

The spokesperson said: "She is not engaged or married to Fred.”

As I already posted on the picture thread, that elderly guy looks a lot like the one who was seen hugging her at Shania's cottage last summer. I'm guessing he's a local resident in Muskoka.

Just because she has a new man doesn't mean that she isn't still hurting from the split with Mutt. Shania deserves happiness just like everyone else so I don't see what the problem is. So what if she wanted to keep the relationship on the down low at first maybe she wasn't ready to let the world know just yet.

As far as music goes it takes a very only time to create it and get it all together. I know this since I'm also a musician so I can relate to Shania. Id rather wait 10 years for a album that's amazing than some crap someone puts out as fast as possible just to make money.

And if you were a musician then you would know that no album that takes so long as ever been successful. The best albums are made in the shortest period of time when the creative juices are flowing. COO was written and produced in less than 2 years. TWIM was written and produced in 6 months.
So don't make me laugh and try to convice anyone that an album that takes a decade to make will be better than one that takes a year or 2 to make.

We all go through problems in our life and tribulations, thats life, no big deal.My Auntie lost her son of a brain tumor at age 13 and had to work 2 jobs and couldn't afford to take time off. Now that is a tragedy and that is what you call sad.
The difference is 99% people go back to work the next day and not take a 7 year vacation travelling and shopping.
Everyone is a fan here and we all have a right to our opinion.You aren't a better fan than anyone just because your worship her and never question her and think she is a goddess.

Traveling and shopping for 7 years? Talk about asinine statements!

Don't want to rain on your parade but a couple of glimpses of her in 7 years traveling and shopping does not tell you much about how she spent her time day to day for the past 7 years.

To make such idiotic comments does no one any favors.

My Auntie who lost her son of a brain tumor and went back to work right away while she was grieving a death shows what true strength is.
She never once complained or played the victim.
And what she went through is ten times tougher than Shania can ever imagine.
Just imagine losing your 13 yearold son. And having to work 2 jobs and go back to work right away.
I guess that is why I don't feel sorry for a zillionaire who has everything in the world but chooses to waste the talent god has given her.
There are about 19 million people who are really suffering that I feel sorry for before I even think of feeling sorry for Shania Twain.

The so far 'unseen' photos of Shania and Fred wlking through a parking lot with their shopping cart will be in 'Star' magazine this week. Shania is on the cover (small. lower left hand corner) and I saw on eTalk that that is the photo they show.
