Twain and Frederic Thiebaud, both wearing rings, take their children Eja and Johanna to a wild bird show at the Port Cunnington Lodge on Lake of Bays in the Muskoka region of Ontario, Canaada. Family friends joined them. Twain spent the week at her nearby cottage. (August 2009)

If I'm not mistaken that elderly gentleman pictured with them looks similar to the one she was douling hugs with at her cottage last summer.

He is the mayor or a relative or...?? Do we know what the emblem or whatever it is on his shirt represents? What about the older lady?

I presume that elderly woman is either his partner or sister.

Fred is a nice looking fella.  Looks pretty hunky without his shirt on there!! Now Shania is hanging around with younger guy!!! How about that?  aww

I'm thinking maybe the older couple is Fred's parents,,ya think?  Johanna's grandparents.  And who knows, possibly Shania's future mom and dad-in-law!!!

It sure looks like they were enjoying learning about the birds.  How neat!!

The info we have seen says those rings are promise rings.  I don't think Shania is going to only have a band for a wedding ring.   I think Fred would get her a nice band and diamond type set if anything serious comes about. biggrin

More cottage in Canada photos on ET Canada - PICTURES

OK, my camera is officially broken, so I will have to borrow one to take vid caps of tonight's ET Canada.

They showed clips of the 'travelogue' and talked about how Shania was recently up at her cottage with Fred in Muskoka.  They showed a couple of photos of Shania and Fred on a deck, going into the cottage. Shania is wearing cut-off red sweat pants.

I wonder why no-one records these ET clips and upload them to YouTube? Fans outside Canada aren't able to view them otherwise.

I would love to know how to do this. I have it recorded on my PVR - like a Canadian 'TiVo' - I have AIM - if you, or someone else on the board wants to Instant Message me on AIM and go over how to do it, step by step, I will put it on YouTube.
