I don't know. I think she likes the privacy in Switzerland. We've seen how she is followed and photographed when she goes home to Canada.

I have to agree with Tommy,if she was coming back to North America i think she would have done it after the split.The longer she stays the harder it will be on her son.

I have to admit that now that she has been sidetracked by this whole Fred thing I am worried that she will quit and not do music anymore. I mean she wrote that she would be back before Fred entered the picture. I think once Eja finishes school she will move back to Canada. It's her home and she's happy there. By then unless she makes a full comeback to music and stays in the music spotlight she won't be harrassed or bothered if she retires. I know it is her decision but I really would love to see her in concert just once before that happens. And with her not mentioning music as much these days it is pretty apparent that it is not a major priority. That is what scares me most right now.

It scares me too but we have lost a lot of our favorites over the decades and we continue on with our lives.

Let's not go overboard about Eilleen.

I don't think Shania would move back to Canada for good, although it would make sense with her family being based there. At the moment it's just convenient for her to remain in Switzerland, not only for Eja's schooling/friends, but because it's central to Europe, and I'm sure Fred would be truly content being with her wherever.
