Thanks for the scans. I had a gut feeling that it was Fred who pursued Shania last winter and not the other way around, and while he may have had good intentions, I think his timiming was somewhat off. Given the fact that Shania was vulnerable and in a state of despair, it was too early for her to even contemplate entering a new relationship. As for people around her routing for them to get together, it sounds a lot like they're making that decision for Shania on her behalf. She probably felt pressured/influenced to date him.

Us Weekly reports that she bought the rings (promise ones or not), however Star states that Fred gave them to her. So I don't know which source to believe.

And if Shania is still legally married to Mutt, I don't see how any of that stuff about her and Fred planning their wedding for next year, being true. After all, her divorce is still ongoing and their assets have yet to be divided, which will take a long time.

As for the last comment about Shania not jumping back into work, we are already aware of the fact her music has taken a backburner and she's not likely to release anything anytime soon. We understand how hard Shania has worked to become the great singer she is and know it's important for her to have privacy and normalcy in her life and needs that time away, but her fan-base have been waiting for years for new material and have been extremely patient in the process. That has to account for something.
