Roch Voisine received congratulations from Shania Twain to his show Americana, presented in Montreux. The two quickly became accomplices.

In full tour in Switzerland for his show country Americana Roch Voisine has won a fan.

The star Shania Twain, amazed by his performance, has even called him after seeing him show. A very nice surprise for the singer of New Brunswick.

The press officer of the songwriter, Nariman Doumandji tells the story of a beautiful encounter.

"Roch Voisine and Shania Twain had never met. They knew of course by their successes. But last Tuesday, the country superstar Shania Twain sat in the 4th row for the show presented in Montreux Americana. "

THE TOUR CONTINUES

Roch Voisine departed Montreux sure to be on the right track with this formula show country. It's not every day we receive the blessing of Shania Twain.

The Americana Tour continues this week in Marseilles and Toulouse, and will later in Dijon, Lyon, Bordeaux and Nantes.

Roch Voisine is back in Quebec in 2010 with the same show.

Shania Twain has sold over 65 million albums worldwide and is preparing her next musical composition in the next year. She will also pass in her hometown of Timmins, Ontario to bring the Olympic flame on 1 January.

Read that very carefully. It said she met him last Tuesday at his concert.
Mutt then invited him to Shania's place in Montreax Switzerland where Mutt was also in the studio a studio adjacent to Shania's Place.
It seems Mutt and Shania are very,very friendly as Mutt told people magazine that they would remain good friends.
It seems fans have jumped to conclusions on what really went on between them.
I wonder what fans will say if Mutt produces her next album. Heck, he is even making calls for her to invite Roche to her place for dinner.

Hello I would be happy for Shania if she let mutt produce her next album because we all have to remember they both have a son together and in my opion he is a real good producer and to me if Shania Twain picks him then that is great. I also would like to know how true the story is because as I said I believe nothing unless I hear it from Shania but I will not be shocked if her ex hubby produces her next album but makes no difference to me as long as she comes back

loverdude23, I agree. It's business and if they work together they won't be the first couple who saved good relationships after break up. And this article says they were in the studio so I don't see any other reason for them to be together in the studio except for making music. I am pretty much sure now that there will be no new producer this time.

Hi Tommy,
I am French, and the article does not say that it is Mutt who phoned in
Roch to invite him to dine. This is the companion of Shania is who made
him, that is Fred. And Roch had the opportunity to meet Mutt who lives
not very far and who also has his new studio not very far from the home
of Shania.
That is what says the article.

It's a question to Shania. Anyway, if not then why did she take Voisine to Mutt's studio? I believe they work together. And she wrote in her messages that she writes songs but no word about looking for a new producer.  ;)

Mutt just got done producing Maroon 5. He was working with them over the summer. I think they finished up in October/November because Maroon 5 is back in LA and doing interviews.

Are we watching "Days Of Our Lives"? Maybe Mutt/Shania are like Bo/Hope Brady. Talk about complicated love affair.

Maybe we're watching "Young and the Restless"? Maybe Mutt and Shania are like Victor and Nikki Newman - no matter what happens they keep going back to each other?

Joseph Armand Roch Voisine, OC better known as Roch Voisine, (born March 26, 1963 in Edmundston, New Brunswick) is a Canadian Acadian singer-songwriter, actor, and radio and television host who lives in Montreal, Quebec and Paris, France. He writes and performs material in both English and French. He won the Juno Award for Male Vocalist of the Year in 1994. In 1997 he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Childhood and family

Roch Voisine was born in Edmundston, but grew up in Saint-Basile. His parents are Réal Voisine, mayor of Notre-Dame-du-Lac, Quebec and a former English teacher, and Zélande Robichaud, a former nurse. He is the oldest of three children: his brother, Marc, was born in 1965, and his sister, Janice, was born in 1966. Roch lived with his paternal grandparents, Maurille and Dorina Racine Voisine, from age four, when his parents divorced, until he was eight, when he went to live with his father. Roch considers these grandparents very influential on him, even as an adult. Roch moved to Notre-Dame-du-Lac when he was 12.

He aspired to be a professional ice hockey player until he was severely injured playing baseball in 1981.

He attended the University of Ottawa and graduated in 1985 with a degree in physical therapy.

Voisine married Myriam Saint-Jean on 21 December 2002. Voisine and Saint-Jean have two sons, Killian (born June 25, 2004) and Alix-Élouan (born January 9, 2006). On October 15, 2007, Voisine's website announced his and Myriam's separation.
