I know she isn't in their league but I happen to love her latest video "Liar," and she is doing quite well for herself. She writes her own songs, plays guitar and belts out a great song. Actually, Taylor and Carrie aren't in Shania's league either, and I could've mentioned Kelly Pickler and Julianna Hough too, but I didn't. :) There are a lot of young ones out there today doing well for themselves. BUT, I still wait Shania's return.

Maybe she hasn't got anything new to comment on and share with us for this month, as we all know she's recently been having a period of relaxation in the Caribbean.

Couldn't have said it any better myself ! ! U R Exactly right. Even tho they may currently have more of a following (or sales and views), its because of the vastly increased number of country/pop enthusiasts; the years (8) since any new releases (6 years since any performances); and the fact that most of the young singers you mentioned are being followed by individuals(kids) weren't even BORN when SHANIA was working all her magic. Her hair,clothing,makeup, as well as her entire style is now the choice of 'current stars'. Shania is -and always wil be-the BEST EVER.
