I purchased both the book and the itunes audiobook...THE BOOK IS WORTH IT! The audio, not so much. The audiobook is VERY abridged. Plus, it is narrated mainly by some California "Valley Girl." The intro and the conclusion are read by Shania however.
Shania's "From This Moment On" memoir has been REPRINTED with a new cover. It still has 448 pages like the original book.
For a book, a reprint means the publisher is printing a new batch of copies because the original stock has been out of print or has sold out. The text and content remain identical to the original printing, though the publisher might fix minor typos or update the book's cover and formatting.
Globally celebrated songwriter, artist, and performer Shania Twain is a five-time Grammy winner and one of music’s most influential voices. With over 100 million albums sold, including three consecutive Diamond-certified records, she remains the top-selling female country-pop artist of all time, with hits like “You’re Still the One” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” Her career as a live performer has spanned global tours and acclaimed Las Vegas residencies. In 2026, Shania made a triumphant return with Little Miss Twain, the most personal album of her hallowed career. "From This Moment On,” originally published in 2011 as her first book, is now reissued, revisiting Twain’s remarkable story and celebrating her enduring legacy.
I ordered the new reprint from the link and what arrived was the normal one- anyone else have this issue?
Really? That's ridiculous! I know it says revised and updated but I really think it's the same book with a new cover. Plus it says it still has 448 pages.

I just saw a fan's post on Instagram who ordered the reprint and received the original book too.

The revised and updated book with new cover will be released in the Fall. That's why people ordering it are receiving the original book.

A foreword is a short introductory section in a book written by someone other than the primary author. When a book gets a new foreword for a later edition, it is usually written by a new expert or famous person to give fresh context, celebrate an anniversary, or explain why the book still matters today. Always written by a guest contributor, such as a peer, critic, or specialist, rather than the person who wrote the book.

On October 6, Shania is releasing a new audiobook version of her memoir "From This Moment On".
Shania Twain to Narrate Audiobook of New Memoir From This Moment On — And Announces New Extended Album (Exclusive)
The audio version of Twain’s 2011 bestselling book coincides with a new edition of her ‘Little Miss Twain’ album

Shania Twain is having a big year — and this fall, she’s looking back on a familiar story.
The singer-songwriter, 60, will narrate the audiobook of a new recorded edition of her bestselling memoir From This Moment On.
Originally published in 2011, From This Moment On tells Twain’s story, beginning with her difficult childhood. Raised in rural Canada as Eilleen Twain, the Grammy winner was one of five children living in poverty in an abusive home, who stepped up for her siblings after their parents died in a car accident when Twain was 22.
The memoir traces Twain’s rise to worldwide music stardom, her marriage and how she eventually found healing, per the book’s synopsis.
“Revisiting From This Moment On and recording this new audiobook edition has been such a personal and meaningful experience,” Twain says in an exclusive quote. “These memories hold so many emotions for me — the dreams, the challenges, the heartbreak and the incredible moments I could never have imagined.”
The audiobook will also feature a new exclusive foreword.
“Returning to my story after all these years gave me the chance to reflect on the journey from where I am today, both in the new foreword and as I read the memoir in full in my own voice,” she continues. “I hope listening feels personal — like we’re sitting down together and I’m telling you my story myself.”
Three days after the audiobook release, Twain will release an extended edition of her seventh studio album Little Miss Twain, released in July. Little Miss Twain — The Encore features five new songs
“I am the creative person in the room, not the person deciding on timing, so when two stories from my life collide like this, I have to assume it’s serendipitous,” says Twain. “Recording my memoir From This Moment On was such a trip down memory lane, good and bad, reflections and aspirations and it was a gift really to read through the work during yet another chapter of my life.”
“So much has happened since I worked on my biography that it already feels like it’s time for Part Two and one of the biggest things, from my perspective, that’s happened outside the timeline of the book, is the release of my first biographical album Little Miss Twain,” she adds.
“This is how I was introduced as an 8-year-old walking onto a stage at a dive bar, ‘Welcome to the stage Little Miss Twain.’ The songs thread through my story before being signed in Nashville and the audiobook is a deep dive into the transition from Little Miss Twain to Shania Twain. Those two people go hand in hand as do the book and this album. I hope you enjoy.”
The From This Moment On audiobook will be released on Oct. 6 through Simon & Schuster Audio and is now available for preorder (at book link provided).
It’s funny how two stories from your life can find their way back to each other at exactly the right time ✨ I think I’ve mentioned before how I would need to live to 200 to do everything I dream of doing and yet I feel I’ve lived a thousand lives already. I’m going to re-release my biographical album ‘Little Miss Twain - The Places I’ll Go’ with a few extra songs that fill in more of the gaps, and in the same week I’m going to launch the audiobook of my biography ‘From This Moment On’ then the story of my life up to Nashville is all laid bare! And as some of you already know… my story is not for the faint of heart!
The audiobook is out October 6th and the album is out October 9th.
