GAC aired this video recently and it was a version of the video I had never seen before. At the very end, it shows Shania trying to open the door and the doorknob falls off into her hand and she starts laughing. Is this a common version of the video? Also, I thought it was weird that for the songwriters they listed her as Shania Lange - usually they use Twain.

I knew of this version before Youtube was invented though I can't remember where I saw it for the first time we're talking here about something that happened MANY years ago
Indeed it is, although if I remember correctly the VHS version of The Platinum Collection didn't have that out take ending. I also remember there was a couple of different mixes used for certain songs between the DVD and VHS versions. Problem is my version of the VHS of it has long been junked so I can't confirm if i'm just imagining these things.
there's a new version of the song released as a duet with Andrea Bocelli in italian an english renamed as "da stanotte in poi", it's the second time she releases a bilingual version as in 1998/1999 recorded a portuguese / english version with Chitãozinho & Xororó named "de hoje em diante"
