I can understand wanting meet your singing hero. I honestly get it. But like you said, it really depends on what they are doing at the time. And their mood. If they are eating with their family, then you should not under any circumstances go to their table--it just is rude. Any never approach them with their kids. I just come from trying to understand where they are coming from. I don't feel just because they are rich and famous that means they don't deserve any privacy.

The thing is, living in NYC, I have seen MANY stars. At my local park, restaurant, etc.....and I see how horrible some people treat them. I know that it is a lot worse out in L.A. One time, Matt Damon was at the table next to us, and a woman just rushed his table screaming and taking pics--he looked like was going to have a heart attack. I felt SO bad for him.

I have smiled at celebs. Said "hello", "how are you doing" basically acted like I did not know them and was just being polite.

Britney Spears attended Shania Twain’s show at the Colosseum inside Caesars Palace this evening and was even supposed to be a special guest of the country singer, but it turns out the Femme Fatale’s stay was shortlived.

BreatheHeavy.com is reporting that Britney left the show after being told by security that she wasn’t allowed to use her cell phone while inside the building.

A fan of Twain’s who was in attendance at the show tell us exclusively that Spears was “visibly upset and pissed off,” and was “cursing up a storm” when she left.

Spears is currently in Las Vegas to announce her own residency, a deal that was complete back in January.

With selfies galore, ladies screaming and cameras flashing everywhere, Friday night’s official Backstreet Boys concert after-party brought a boy-band frenzy to Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas. Meanwhile, on the lower level of The Deck at Chateau, Shania Twain hosted a private karaoke party with a small group of friends including David Copperfield and her sister, Carrie Ann Edwards.

Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson arrived at midnight and walked the red carpet with excited fans following the band in the hopes of getting a photo or autograph. The Backstreet Boys didn’t disappoint, and from the red carpet to the stunning rooftop, band members were followed by a mob of fans wanting “selfies” and hugs. While taking a back route to the rooftop, they walked up to The Deck at Chateau where they discovered the private karaoke party. Twain spotted the Backstreet Boys and ran over for hugs, and the group caught up for about 15 minutes and took a few photographs with Twain before heading upstairs for their party.

Carter went straight to the DJ booth where he took over the turntables for hours, followed by his bandmates who sang and danced along. Carter played a mix of old school and EDM for thousands of party-goers who danced and screamed for the hunky boy band members. It was a night to remember and a rare opportunity for fans to get up-close-and-personal with one of the most iconic boy bands of all time.

Avril Lavigne visited by Shania Twain at Planet Hollywood gig in Las Vegas

Avril Lavigne had an unexpected V.I.P. in the audience at her show May 30 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The Canuck punk-pop princess received a surprise visit from fellow Canadian superstar Shania Twain.

According to an update posted May 31 at the "Sk8terboi" hitmaker's Facebook page, the 29-year-old Napanee, Ont. native was performing the first of a two-night stand on a bill with The Backstreet Boys at the popular Vegas resort when the Queen of Country Pop dropped by for a visit. The 48-year-old Windsor, Ont. native was in Vegas and had a night off from her hugely successful AEG Live produced Shania Twain: Still the One residency at the Colosseum in Caesar's Palace.

The pair of multi-Juno Award winners got together after the show and hung out along with Lavigne's hubby, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. Both stars posted pictures of the get together on their Facebook and Twitter pages with Twain posing for shots with Lavigne and Kroeger, as well as with The Backstreet Boys. Posting the photos to her Twitter account, Twain wrote, "Reuniting with Canadian friends Avril Lavigne and Chad backstage after Avril's concert at Planet Hollywood!", while Lavigne tweeted back, " Thank you to the beautiful Shania Twain for coming to my show."

The "Honey, I'm Home" hitmaker was an early influence on Lavigne's style and played a pivotal role in her rise to stardom. In 1999, Lavigne won a radio contest to perform with Twain at the Corel Centre in Ottawa, Ont. before an audience of 20,000 people and joined Twain on stage to sing "What Made You Say That."

Both performers will be busy with shows throughout June. Lavigne continues her U.S. tour with The Backstreet Boys on June 2 in Albuquerque, N.M. at Isleta Amphitheatre while Twain resumes her residency at the Colosseum in Caesar's Palace with shows on June 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7. Caesars Palace resident headliner Shania Twain welcomed fellow Canadian musician Avril Lavigne to her show Sunday night at the Colosseum.

It was Avril returning the favor, as Shania was at The Backstreet Boys and Avril concert Friday night at Axis in Planet Hollywood, where Avril served as the opening act to the legendary boyband. (Axis is home to Britney Spears’ resident show “Britney: Piece of Me.”)

According to an update posted May 31 at “Girlfriend” hitmaker Avril’s Facebook page, the 29-year-old Napanee, Ontario, native was performing the first of a two-night stand on a bill with BSB when “The Queen of Country Pop” popped in for a visit. Where does a country sensation like Shania Twain go when she’s hungry in Vegas? To a restaurant run by a food sensation: Giada De Laurentiis, specifically.

Perhaps the singer, who’s currently residing in Sin City for her Shania: Still the One show at The Colosseum, was seeking a huggy-fuzzy vibe. De Laurentiis has said that she hopes Giada Vegas, which opened last month in The Cromwell hotel, will make people feel like they’re getting a “big welcoming hug.”

It sounds like Twain, who dined with her husband Frederic Thiebaud, was a fan. “Had an amazing meal at @giadavegas last night. She is so talented and so sweet. A must while in Vegas!” she captioned an Instagram shot (above) of her posing with the telegenic chef.

De Laurentiis returned the social media love. “SpecialGuest in the Giada Vegas kitchen!! @shaniatwain and her handsome hubby!” the chef wrote for the below photo of the pair getting a peek at the kitchen.

Twain, has told Country Weekly that she loves pasta, though as a rule she tries to make fresh produce and protein sources the focus of her diet. We’re hoping she ditched the healthy stuff and indulged in one of the several homemade pastas on the Giada Vegas menu.

And we can’t help but wonder if the favor will be returned: Will there be Instagram shots of De Laurentiis backstage at Twain’s show next week? [If she does she'll be backstage at Celine Dion's show instead.] biggrin

Caesars Palace headliner Shania Twain brought her family to Cirque du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson One” at Mandalay Bay on Sunday night, her second visit to the show. Post-show, Shania’s group visited the cast backstage for photos with singer Valerie Kimani and artist Ahlamalik Williams before receiving a private backstage tour.

Caesars headliner Shania Twain sat in the seats of the Colosseum instead of being on stage Wednesday night as a guest to see Hall & Oates but joined them backstage after the show to hang out with them in her dressing room.
