I prefer a natural looking Shania. I personally feel that she is too beautiful a woman to resort to botox and fillers. And her hair extensions are way too long--they overwhelm her since she is such a short woman. I forget how short she is until I see some of the candid fan shots.
But this is the problem with women in the spotlight when they are known for their looks. It is a long, hard crash down to reality once the wrinkles start to appear.....if you are always told how pretty you are over and over again and then wrinkles show up, I imagine that you start to panic.....
Obviously Shania, and any woman, is allowed to do what they want with their appearance. But she looks so much better with her natural hair and without the injections.
Yes, it is just sad to see someone who is naturally beatiful "destroy" that natural beauty and turn into a cartoon figure. Some people may need the botox and fillers but not Shania.
But I personally think no one really needs this sh*t. It's just a sick society we're living in.
And I think the hair does not only overwhelm her. I think it looks ridiculous because it's obvious that it's fake and everyone can see that it's not her own hair. I'm not against hair extensions when they are done well and look natural but this just looks fake.
As for her self-confidence, I think she’s at the top of her game. She rightfully owned that stage when I saw her perform in October. It was incredible to watch. Nope, there was definitely no shortage of self-confidence.
Yes I know, but it looks like she needs the pumped up face to be confident. And there are female celebrities who are able to age with grace. So I assume they must be more confident and stronger. Look at Shania's friend Bo Derek for example. I'm not a fan of her and I'm sure she's had some work on her face done as well but she allows wrinkles and laughter lines on her face.
I wonder if Carrie will spend Christmas with Shania and Fred. It looks like the show was a success. Robin's posts on Twitter made me want to go all over again. I had a lot of friends who went last night. It sounds like the dancers AND Ryan/Dan will not be with Shania if she tours next year. According to Ryan/Dan's Twitter they will release their third album in February so they will probably tour on their own for that.
I am assuming that since Shania's contract is up with Caesars Entertainment that her new road shows will be at least slightly different from even what she did at the Calgary/PEI shows.
Apparently, the only difference between all of the other shows and last night's final show is that during the campfire segement, the head of Caesars presented her with a check for the SKC foundation and they showed a video of Shania's time in Vegas and her involvement at the SKC clubhouses.
