Bittersweet watching this. Just bittersweet. She sounds like an angel in this clip. Not a voice prettier back then--not a single one. Just bittersweet.........but times change and voices change.......and life goes on......but this clip demonstrates why I became a fan and will always have the memories and clips of that lovely voice.
She had the voice of an angel back then ;) And to think that Nashville never gave her credit for her voice when she had such an amazing one in that stage of her career.
Mutt taking the twang out of her voice to make her more palatable for pop may have made her a star all around the globe, but he also robbed her of her soul. I just wish she could get it back.
