I just seriously wish that she would get rid of those silly male dancers. So distracting and not in a good way...
I agree, that is the only thing that bothered me. When Shania was out in the audience in June they went out into the audience and rubbed up against a girl in the audience who was just sitting there. I have never seen a girl look so shocked (and I don't think it was positive shock either). Dancers can be talented, but not really what I would put side by side with Shania unless in Vegas, and even after what I saw them doing, it was gross and unnecessary.

Haha, yes they are doing that all the time. When I attended the show one of the dancers sat down on the armrest of my seat (I had an aisle seat). He almost sat on my lap. Yes Cody, as I already wrote, in Vegas it's okay to have the dancers in the show because they just fit into the whole setting of the show. I Calgary it was okay too because she used the same setting. But I just hope she will not continue to use this show setting outside of Vegas and do something different that is more like her past concerts during the UP and Come On Over tour. I liked how she was interacting with the band back then. Now the band is just standing in the background most of the time. In the videos from Calgary it's often hard to even see the band because they are standing in the dark. And she started off with four dancers in Vegas and now there are already six of them.
I just didn't want to be accused of being mean. But she is rounder than she has been--in her tummy, waist and hips.... It also shows in her face.
Who cares? She is a singer and not a model. I like that she has gained some weight. She's not overweight and looks totally healthy. I thought she was exagerating about losing weight in some of her posts. People were commenting these pictures with comments like: "weight? what weight?"
And who knows, maybe it's a sign that she really has been working on the new album and thus hasn't been able to exercise as much as she did before.

That sounds really gross. I just think they look silly and Shania does not need them on stage with her.

I don't care. Never said I did. And of course she is not overweight. Nobody thinks that she is overweight. People on many boards have casually commented about how she has gained weight. It is human nature with beautiful people. You see them at their beauty peak and when they gain a small amount of weight, people tend to notice. She is a beautiful almost 50 year old woman. She looks amazing for her age. Nobody stays as skinny and tone as they were in their 20's and 30's. Unless you are Christie Brinkley! Now that woman is not human how amazing she looks at 60!
That's true Butter's. I don't mean to sound like a nerd as you get older to your metabolism is slower then usual and so therefor its harder to lose the weight then it is gaining. Then again everyone has a different body shape etc. saw her on July 10th and thought looks amazing i even wondered how she is even 48.

Shania made my dream come true in Vegas on June and will be seeing her again in July
Shame on Shania Twain’s Calgary Stampede performance, and for glorifying one of Canada’s cruellest animal abuse displays.
Each year, horses are ridden to their deaths in the perilously fast and crowded chuckwagon races. Calves and bulls are routinely tortured and maimed in roping events.
Every single animal in the Stampede’s bloody spectacle is humiliated, injured and then shipped off to slaughter. After all this, is Twain still a vegetarian for ethical reasons?
So I have a silly question... I'm preparing to see Shania in PEI,and I know the concert tickets says 'no flash photography', but are we allowed our cell phones(with camera), or our digital cameras..? Obviously we want to take lots of pictures while we are there... Anyone that can help it would be greatly appreciated :)
Published on July 16, 2014: Members get a shot at free concert tickets and sometimes they get to meet Shania Twain, Paul Brandt, Keith Urban or Reba. What does your phone get you?

If cameras weren't allowed they would have written 'no photography', but since it says 'no flash photography' you are allowed to use any camera you want. You are just not allowed to use the camera's flash.
Man! I feel like a Mountie: How Shania Twain joined the Musical Ride

When Sgt. Marc Godue, the NCO i/c of the Client Services Section with the Musical Ride, got a phone call from Shania Twain’s stage manager, at first he thought it was a hoax.
Twain, an avid rider and fan of the Musical Ride, wanted to work with the RCMP at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alta., as part of the Calgary Stampede. It was her first concert on Canadian soil in a decade.
“I didn’t promise him a thing and told him I’d get back to him,” says Godue.
He sent it up the chain of command and received the thumbs up at each step. And after several months of co-ordination, a plan was in place.
Dressed in replica red serge, Twain entered on Piper, an RCMP horse, for her back-to-back sold out shows, flanked by Mounties on horseback and on foot.
“We were right next to the crowd and I wanted to make sure that we kept things as safe as possible,” says Godue. “We practised beforehand and did our due diligence so we wouldn’t just cut the horses loose.”
Godue also chose experienced riders for the event, instructors with the Ride, who were already on tour at the Stampede.
“We go out with our horses, and I’m leading the way,” says Cpl. Jeremy Dawson. “Shania shows up in the uniform smiling and says, ‘This is way too crazy.’ And I was like, ‘This is definitely one of the craziest things I’ve done.’ We both started to laugh and I said, ‘I’ll get you through.’ ”
When they entered and the crowd realized Twain was one of the Mounties, Dawson says they went wild. “There was no way we could prepare our horses for that, but all three of our horses walked through,” says Dawson.
In total, it took 40 nerve-wracking seconds to go around the stage.
“We did it. We got it,” says Dawson. “But then we remembered that we had to do it again the next night. Luckily, it was even better than the first.”
