Faith Hill Signs New Management Deal; Is New Music on the Way?
ABC News Radio | September 25, 2014
Faith Hill has signed with a new management company, Sandbox Entertainment. The company also represents Shania Twain, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves and Dan + Shay. Faith was previously aligned with Red Light Management, which also is the management company that represents her husband, Tim McGraw.
The move seems to signal Faith could be releasing a new album soon. Her last proper studio album, Fireflies, came out in 2005.
Though Hill hasn't issued a non-holiday album since 2005's Fireflies, she's been active in recent months following the encore of her and McGraw's Soul2Soul residency at Las Vegas' Venetian Hotel late last year that ran through April. On record, the couple re-teamed for McGraw's latest top 10 country hit "Meanwhile Back At Mama's," which they performed at a recent concert for American Express' "Unstaged." And Hill was one of several A-list guests who joined George Strait for his final concert performance from Arlington, Texas' AT&T Stadium on June 7.
A proper return to new music may be in the works, too -- as McGraw told Billboard at 2013's iHeartRadio Festival, "She's working on stuff, she's writing songs. She's just enjoying life and that process of finding songs," McGraw said.
