Shania's "Rock This Country" tour starts in June and this will be her FINAL tour! Pre-sale tickets for fans go on sale March 10 (use code: STILLTHEONE). Tickets for General Public go on sale March 13. The tour will encompass 48 cities in the U.S. & Canada and kicks off in Seattle on June 5.

Man, she feels like a woman ready to go on a farewell tour.
Country music superstar Shania Twain announced she will be doing just that -- launching a farewell world tour -- to put a cap on her decades-long career that has seen her sell more than 75 million records worldwide and win five Grammys.
"I'm finally, after 11 years, I'm going back on tour," the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" singer said today on "Good Morning America."
"It's the after-party tour. That's how I see it," Twain said. "It's the after-party to all of these years."
Twain's "Rock This Country" tour will kick off in Seattle on June 5, 2015, and take the nine-time Billboard Music Award winner to 48 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, Twain's home country.
Twain says the tour will be her last.
"This is a very, very important time on the road for me," Twain said. "I just feel like I'm ready to hang my hat up in that regard. I just really want to go out with a bang."
The "You're Still the One" singer most recently made headlines with a two-year residency at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. A live CD and DVD of her full Las Vegas show was released Tuesday.
Twain described the residency as a "huge mountain to climb" and "a lot of work." She said she relied on two unlikely sources -- Lionel Richie and Gladys Knight -- for support when she was beset by vocal challenges.
"They were just so encouraging and basically told me to get over it," Twain said. "[They said] 'Get back on the microphone. You can do it.' And they were right."
"I just needed courage, is what I really needed," she said.
Not only can people expect a whole different show from what she did in Las Vegas when she hits the road for "Rock This Country," Twain said, but fans, as always, will be an integral part of the new show.
"I look to others for more strength, Twain said. "I look for the courage in others and then I find mine.
"I think that's why I love being with the fans," she said. "I love getting out into the audience. I like hearing their stories. I like talking to them during the show."
Twain's 1997 album, "Come on Over," remains the bestselling album ever by a woman and the bestselling country album of all time. The good news for any of Twain's fans disappointed that this tour will be her last is that after the tour will come a new album.
"I want it to come out when I'm 50, so it will happen," said Twain, who will mark the big 5-0 in August. "I'm on the microphone every day recording stuff.
"I want to just enjoy that party, that celebration party, and then I'll get back to the record," she said of the tour.
Tickets for the "Rock This Country" tour will go on sale to Twain's fans on Tuesday, March 10, and to the general public on Friday, March 13.

They only release limited seats for pre-sale.
I need accessible seating and unable to buy any. I guess you can't buy them during pre-sale and have to wait until Friday? This sucks.

You should try again!!! I just went on and a lot more tickets were available. I bought pretty good tickets for $113 a piece in a good section! Good luck!!

I can't stand Ticketmaster. The system was so slow, and when I found 2 lower bowl tickets and hit "buy", it tried to process them, but timed out. I ended up buying a single ticket on the floor and I'll try my luck again on Friday for better tickets.
I've seen Shania front row a few times back in the good ole days - if I get "ok" tickets now, I'm fine with that.

Just wondering if anyone knows how many shows are sold out and how ticket sales are going for the final tour. I hope she sells out all venues. Maybe it will be proof to her that it shouldn't be her last tour. I still think she will tour more after this because of the out of country fans. It wouldn't be fair to tour without going worldwide would it?
Just my thoughts, Warmest regards as always, Tonto

Winnipeg concert fans fed up with scalpers asking $10K for a seat
'That don't impress me much,' says one Shania Twain fan
By Vera-Lynn Kubinec, CBC News Posted: Mar 24, 2015 4:00 AM CT
As the summer concert season and hockey playoff time approach, two Winnipeggers are calling on concert venues like the MTS Centre to do more to prevent the age-old practice of ticket scalping.
Since 1920, the Amusements Act in Manitoba has made it illegal to resell event tickets for higher than the original price.
But when Diane DeMare and Anne-Marie Thiebert each recently tried to buy tickets for concerts at the MTS Centre, both found the best seats in the house had been quickly bought up by ticket resellers who offered them for sale at higher prices on different websites.
"That is just not fair!" said Thiebert, who went online looking for tickets to the upcoming Ed Sheeran concert for her 18-year-old son, who's a guitarist.
DeMare wanted tickets for her daughter to go to a Shania Twain concert at MTS Centre in June.
Her daughter, being a longtime member of the Shania Twain fan club, had a pre-sale code that Demare thought would give her early access to tickets before sale to the general public.
Could only find tickets in upper sections
But ticket resellers can also access the advance sales codes. So when DeMare logged onto the Ticketmaster web site, she was disappointed.
"We're just wondering why, how is it that these ticket resellers have access to these tickets, where we're on the Ticketmaster site and we can't get actual seats in the 100 sections or 200, or even the floor for that matter," DeMare said.
Same thing for the Sheeran concert.
"I logged on about half an hour after the pre-sale started to find that the only tickets I could find were in the 300 [upper] sections," said Thiebert.
"I couldn't believe it. I mean, I know Ed Sheeran is popular but I thought, 'How could it be already the 300 section?'"
She added, "I would think the venues need to have tighter controls in their contractual agreements with Ticketmaster."
As Thiebert surfed around ticket reseller websites, she found tickets to the Ed Sheeran show offered at more than $10,000 on one site.
"I've never seen a $10,000 ticket … maybe he comes and sits on your lap?" joked DeMare.
"Maybe you get to take his guitar home," quipped Thiebert.
MTS Centre trying to address issue
"That is astounding," said Kevin Donnelly, senior vice-president of venues and entertainment for True North Sports and Entertainment, which operates the MTS Centre.
"It is unfortunately not surprising," he added.
But there are things venues can do to help defeat scalpers who use computer programs to buy up tickets for resale.
One solution is when the venue — such as MTS Centre — requires concert-goers to arrive at the show with photo ID along with the credit card used to purchase the ticket.
In 2009, the MTS Centre started offering this so-called "paperless" ticketing, meaning there's no ticket that could be fraudulently reproduced by a reseller.
"You have to show the originating credit card at the door to get in, and we've done that without a problem," Donnelly said.
But by Donnelly's own estimate, that covers only 25 to 30 per cent of the tickets, meaning the majority of seats don't have that requirement.
He said the venues can't dictate how many of the seats are covered by that rule because the artist and promoter would have to agree to it.
"Ultimately the arenas don't own the inventory. The inventory is owned by the promoter in an arrangement with the artist or manager, so it is difficult for us to impose our will without their approval," said Donnelly.
There's another way the MTS Centre has addressed the issue.
"We've actually had a couple events where we've said all U.S. addresses are forced to do 'will call' pickup, so if you're from out of state, out of province, you have to go to the box office the day of the show, show that ID and pick up the ticket," Donnelly explained.
"If you were from New Jersey and had no intent on coming … it made it impossible to resell that ticket because you couldn't get your hands on it," he added.
"We've had shows go from 40 per cent to under five per cent out-of-market sales when we've enforced that."
Is the law being enforced?
Donnelly said he's not aware of any recent enforcement under Manitoba's anti-scalping law, which carries a penalty of up to $5,000.
However, no one from the Winnipeg Police Service or the province could say whether the two were actually fined or whether anyone else has been charged since then.
Ontario, which has had anti-scalping legislation in place since 1914, recorded 26 convictions under the Ticket Speculation Act in the past five years.
Quebec tightened its law in 2011. It currently has four scalping prosecutions in progress.
While it's too late to make a difference for the Shania Twain concert in Winnipeg, DeMare has written to the singer's management company asking whether Twain is aware that scalpers had scooped up the best tickets, forcing her loyal fans to buy at inflated prices.
Ticketmaster did not provide a response for this story as of Monday night.
Shania Twain is returning to the road! This spring, she announced her first North American tour in 11 years. The Rock This Country Tour will kick off June 5th in Seattle and stop in 48 cities.
“This is a celebration tour,” Twain said in a press release. “It’s party time! The Rock This Country tour will have a different spirit than my past tours. It’s a Shania they’ve never seen before. A lot of years have gone by and I’ve got a lot more to share.”
If you’re planning to see Shania in a city near you, why not make it a mini-vacation and check out a few sights along the way? Here are some Great American Country recommendations.
Rock This Country stops in Jacksonville, Fla., on 7/15, and heads to Miami on 7/16. Circle those dates on your calendar and add a few of these Unexpected Florida Destinations to your itinerary.

LMAO Tanya...no doubt...The "upcoming CD" will probably be released the same way. If by some chance I can get a personalized autographed copy of it, I will have her sign it for "Blue Cheeks" because I will be holding my breath!
Do u think she's adding dates due to the high tickets demand or just because she feels like it?
More $$$$$$$$$$ Remember this is Shania's last tour. She wants every penny she can get!
I'm assuming these additional concerts are being scheduled where there are open dates on the calendar between June-August as opposed to extending the tour into September.

Loooooooooooool Tommy.
I don't know if these dates will fit into the open spaces between June-August. The schedule is already pretty tight, and they need time to move from city to city. And I don't think she can sing EVERY single night for 3 months in a row. Her voice needs rest from time to time. Well, not only her voice, I think every singer's voice needs rest from time to time. At least one day in between
SHANIA TWAIN Extends ROCK THIS COUNTRY TOUR Due To Overwhelming Demand
May 7, 2015
One of the world’s best-selling female artist in history, Shania Twain, will be extending her ROCK THIS COUNTRY tour into the Fall of 2015, due to overwhelming fan demand. This will be her first North American tour in more than 11 years, and the now 67 date run comes hot on the heels of her hit two-year residency in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Presented by AEG Live, ROCK THIS COUNTRY will give fans one last chance to see Shania perform her extensive catalog of iconic hits in a brand new production. The fall leg kicks off in North America on September 12 in Spokane, WA, stopping in Portland, Columbus, and Albany. Additional Canadian dates include two nights in Calgary, as well as Quebec City, with the final show set for Toronto.
Public onsale for most US dates begins Friday, May 15at 10:00 am local, and for Canada, Friday, May 22at 10:00 am local on axs.com. Additionally, American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets through Front Of The Line for the Canadian shows only before the general public beginning Tuesday, May 19 at 10:00 am local through Thursday, May 21 at 10:00 pm local.
A limited number of exclusive VIP Packages also will be available. Theses offers can include premium reserved tickets, access to Shania Twain’s preshow VIP sound check, exclusive merchandise and much more. A $1.00 donation from each ticket purchased will go to the Shania Kids Can Foundation. Grammy Award nominated singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw will be the special guest for most fall dates.
“This is a celebration tour. It’s party time! The ROCK THIS COUNTRY tour will have a different spirit than my past tours,” said Twain. “It’s a Shania they’ve never seen before. A lot of years have gone by and I’ve got a lot more to share.”
Beloved by millions worldwide, Shania has multi-platinum album sales in 32 countries with over 75 million albums sold, and 17 top 10 singles. Three of Shania’s albums (The Woman In Me, Come On Over, Up! ) reached Diamond certification, making her the only artist to have three consecutive albums sell more than 10 million copies in the US.
Rising to fame with her debut album Shania Twain (1993), Shania became a worldwide phenomenon with the release of Come On Over (1997), which became the best-selling country album of all time, and the best-selling album released by a female artist. Most recently, Shania performed 105 shows during her two-year Las Vegas residency, Shania: Still The One, beginning on December 1, 2012 at The Colosseum at Ceasars Palace and wrapping in December of 2014. The show garnered rave reviews throughout its tenure.
And what about returning to Vegas? When she finished her residency there was an article stating she will come back in autumn for encore concerts. Now it seems she will be too busy to do that.
The country superstar announced her first tour in 11 years during an appearance on Good Morning America on March 4. She also revealed it will be her last full-scale tour. “I feel like I’m ready to hang my hat up in that regard,” Twain explains. “I just really want to go out with a bang.”
The tour is set to kick off June 5 in Seattle, and when tickets went on sale for the initial 50 dates on March 13, demand was so high that Twain decided to add a second leg to the road trek. The Rock This Country tour was originally slated to end on Aug. 23 in California, but Twain has announced another run of dates that will begin Sept. 12 and run through Oct. 11, taking in 19 additional shows before wrapping in Ontario, Canada. Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw will be Twain’s special guest on most of the fall dates.
Twain hasn’t been entirely away from the spotlight since her last tour. She recently released Shania: Still the One Live From Vegas, a CD/DVD package that captures her Las Vegas residency that ran from 2012-2014. In an interview with Taste of Country Nights radio, Twain shares fans who saw her in Vegas can expect “a completely new show, an entirely new theme than the Las Vegas show.”
She adds, “It’s just gonna be a real, kickin’, hard-hitting, fun party show.”
Tickets for the additional Rock This Country tour dates go on sale on May 15, with a limited number of exclusive VIP packages available. For more information, visit Twain’s website.

Shania Twain Extends Tour, Talks Missing Life on the Road
Superstar's first tour in 11 years launches next month, runs through mid-October
By Andrew Leahey | May 8, 2015
More than a decade after wrapping up her 10-month Up! Tour, Shania Twain is hitting the highway again. The Rock This Country Tour, which recently swelled from 48 to 67 dates, won't just mark her long-awaited return to the road; it'll double as the final tour of her career, with Twain building up buzz for a new album along the way.
The summertime trek was originally scheduled to end in late August, following a string of shows in Southern California. Earlier this week, Twain announced an extension of 19 shows across the United States and Canada, with the Rock This Country Tour now coming to a close on October 11th in Toronto, less than a four-hour drive from her birthplace of Windsor, Ontario.
Twain didn't allow much time to elapse between the end of her two-year Las Vegas residency, which wrapped in December, and the new tour, which kicks off June 5th in Seattle. She did, however, spend the interim whipping up an entirely new production.
"The atmosphere of going to the people is just different," she told Rolling Stone Country this week, highlighting the distinctions between a residency that stays in one place and a tour that crisscrosses the continent. "When you're going to them and in you're in their zone, it's different. They're at home and you're visiting and they're welcoming you to their place. I feel more like I'm hosting them in Vegas, but when I go to their town, they're welcoming you with these open arms and their spirit is just so alive, and they're excited. And they're grateful that you've come to their town. They love to share their space and their world, and so do I, and that's where we come together."
Meanwhile, Twain continues to work on new music, with the goal of releasing her fifth album after the tour's end.
Here's the full Rock This Country Tour itinerary, including new dates in bold:

“May is National Military Appreciation Month and we’re once again using this auction and associated events to support an organization that’s committed to serving our country’s military men, women and their families,” said Cracker Barrel Old Country Store senior vice president of marketing, Chris Ciavarra. “For nearly 75 years, the USO has provided Americans with a tangible way to say thank you and we want to help continue that tradition.”
Millions of times each year, at hundreds of locations around the world, the USO uses its programs and services to build resiliency and lift the spirits of American troops and their families. The funds raised by Cracker Barrel’s auction will be used for USO programs that support military families, like the USO Tiny Tots program which supports new moms and dads who are separated by deployment when their children are born. Additional USO programs help military families deal with a variety of challenges they may face like relocations, multiple deployments or caregivers support.
“As a nonprofit, the USO cannot achieve this mission without the generosity of individuals and partners, like Cracker Barrel,” said Christy Hartsell, USO Vice President of Corporate Alliances. “Partners like this go a long way in helping us make a difference in the lives of our troops and their families throughout their journey in the military.”

Do you think Shania will play "dress up" like she did in her Vegas show (i.e. "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!", That Don't Impress Me Much", From This Moment On" "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" costumes)? Personally I hope she doesn't. It was fine for Vegas but I think it would be strange on a tour.

Shania Twain extends Rock This Country tour due to overwhelming demand
HELLO! Canada | May 11, 2015
It’s the hottest ticket in town: Shania Twain has extended her highly anticipated Rock This Country summer tour, adding 19 new concert dates due to popular demand. After teasing fans with “exciting news” on Twitter for weeks, the Canadian country superstar announced in March that she would be going on tour for the first time in more than 11 years.
The response so far has been overwhelming – especially since the 49-year-old singer says this tour will be her last.
"Las Vegas was meant to be my last one," she told Hello! after announcing the news. “Now I want to carry on the momentum the Vegas experience gave me and just enjoy. I'm exhaling. And I want to enjoy the exhale!"
Describing the upcoming North American tour as a “celebration” and an “after-party,” the songstress explained the decision for embarking on a goodbye tour, saying she wanted to go out with a bang in a "much more freestyle show."
Originally, Shania had planned a 50-date run, telling reporters that 50 seemed appropriate, since she celebrates her milestone 50th birthday in August. However, the buzz has been so tremendous that the Canadian chanteuse decided to add more dates, with the tour now stretching until October and coming to a close in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre.
Rock This Country kicks off on June 5 in Seattle and includes multiple stops in Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton. The pre-sale starts on May 19, with ticket sales opening to the general public on May 22.
Meanwhile, Shania continues to work on new music, with fans eagerly hoping that she’ll release a fifth album before the year is through. "I want to write a lot more records," she told Hello!.
The Timmins, Ont. native teased that she was writing new songs just last month, sharing a glamorous, seaside photo with her guitar on Twitter. In the snap, Shania is sitting outdoors on a beachfront deck as she strums her guitar. She has a laptop in front of her and her headphones on. Shania simply captioned the photo, “Writing,” along with a guitar and paper-and-pen emoji.
