Shania Twain's 'Life's About to Get Good' Video: Exclusive Details on Her Flowy Dress & Bringing Back Iconic Looks

Shania Twain's latest single "Life's About to Get Good" preaches that life is about joy and it's about pain. But when it comes to the video for the cheery track, it's all about the costumes.

The visual starts out with Twain on a beach in a flowing blue and green gown, in which she is later seen dancing later in the video. While the dress is simply stunning on the 51-year-old, older Shania fans perhaps get even more tickled during a closet scene that revisits some of her most iconic looks, including the classic top hat and corset combo from 1997's "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" video.

Of course, seeing those outfits again is special for longtime fans, but what they may not know upon seeing the "Life's About to Get Good" video is that they were the original costumes from early in Shania's career. How did the music video's team pull that off? With the help of designer -- and frequent Katy Perry collaborator -- Johnny Wujek.

Billboard has an exclusive behind-the-scenes video from the filming of Shania's newest visual, featuring Wujek giving some insight into the throwback costumes as well as the creation of the singer's gorgeous gown. "Just to hold the top hat and the choker she wore in 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman' was pretty surreal," he gushes in the clip.

"Life's About to Get Good" is the first single from Twain's forthcoming album Now, due Sept. 29 via Mercury Nashville. Pre-order the album here and check out the behind-the-scenes snippet from the song's video below.

Remember fans we must get these singles out to all genres of radio and push push push her singles through to get a few number ones! We need a few numbers ones and her album to be number one so the momentum, the vibes, and everything will work toward and for Shania. Remember these awards shows do help her headlines and the sales do to. Headlines and a few other accomplishments make it! We all love her story, the journey, the words, the messages, the images and the presentation. We need to be there for her right now with pushing these things through to make her comeback not just a huge epic success but a moment in music history, culture and life period! I've just listened to "Swingin'" on BBC Radio 2 and it's a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!!

I LOVE the instrumental part right before the last chorus. I'm sure we will find some great surprises on the album.

That instrumental part is something we've never heard from her before. The most similar one is the "Honey, I'm Home" one but I find the "Swingin'" one to be stronger.

I've listened to the studio version on BBC Radio 2 and it's a little different, especially during the instrumental part... Shania does the backing vocals and repeats some part of the chorus. I don't remember which ones because I've only listened to it once.

"Swingin' With My Eyes Closed" will be sent to Country radio on September 18th according to an email that was sent out to a radio programmer in Sioux Falls, SD.

The UK received the song today and it will be released at midnight to all digital retailers.

Yes I don' t get either. Maybe they want to let LATGG climbing the AC Chart as higher as possibile now that the song is doing something on that chart.

Anyway, everyone seems to really love "Swingin'" so I bet it'll do great on digital retailers Charts

She should have waited until a week or two before the album comes out to release the song AND send it to radio. Why the hell are they releasing it a month before it goes to radio??? Shania also should have waited to perform the song until her talk show tour in September.

LATGG continuing to stay at #19 on AC Radio Chart. It's down two spins from 268 spins yesterday while at 266 spins for today, but up 57 spins from last week. SWMEC has yet to debut on the country iTunes top 200, but likely will today!

Can someone tell me why Swingin' is not charting in any country on itunes? With the immediate pre-order downloads it should easily get in the top 200 in some countries, like poor me did. But nothing happens so far...

Any one else here think that "Swingin'" would sit well on the 'Come on Over' album?! I'm loving it. This is the song that can come on the radio and people will know it's Shania without being told. It just screams SHANIA!
