I don't think Shania is cut out to be a ballroom dancing judge. LOL! She is struggling big-time to find words to critique the dances. She's trying her best though.

Well I just watched "Strictly Come To Dancing" from the BBC and she did lip sync and I am shocked right now. Literally shocked and my jaw dropped to see that. What is going on there and she judged ok but she was asked to judge. Like what is truly going on over there with Shania's team and management?  Stictly Come Dancing requires artists to use a studio track. Same goes for Top of the Pops (COO era) and CD UK (Up! era). I‘d venture to guess that given Strictly is the U.K. version of Dancing and runs the same format, it may also be required on that show as well.

After reading your comments I thought the performance was much worse but it turned out to be quite ok. And inspite of her vocal issues she usually sings partly live. This time she completely lipsynced so I believe she had reasons. The format of the show maybe.

Not only did she lip-sync, this was one of the worst lip-synching performances in a long time. It was awful!

Is Shania Twain "Still the One?"

Some online skeptics blasted the country singer's Monday night performance as a "Dancing with the Stars" guest judge.

Twain has bravely discussed her career and life- threatening battle with Lyme disease. 

Twain joined "DWTS" regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli on the panel to critique the movie-themed night -- but she had some fans confused. 

Some suggested she looked unrecognizable, while others weren't happy with her comments and several people charged she was awkward in her use of the score paddles.

Twitter user Kara Meade wrote, "Not only does #ShaniaTwain not look like Shania Twain, shes equally confused with the #DWTS25 paddle. Hope her votes don't count."

A user named Erika asked about Twain, "Who is this imposter?"

Another viewer chimed in, "Who is this person? It’s clearly NOT #ShaniaTwain. Do we need to send out a search party?"

Another user called the appearance strange.

After "Property Brothers" star Drew Scott performed a Paso Doble with his partner Emma Slater on "DWTS," Twain seemed to stammer. She paused during some of her critiques during the live show, including that of former "Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz and his dance partner Witney Carson.

Fans also accused Twain of lip-synching on "DWTS" in a performance of her new single, "Soldier," from the new movie "Thank You for Your Service," about returning veterans.

"I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody lip sync so bad," ScArY Cassie shuddered on Twitter. 

Twain has said in the past she wondered if she would ever sing again after contracting Lyme disease.

"It can kill you. And if it doesn't kill you, it can give you a seriously degenerated quality of life for the rest of your life," she said. 

The country singer had to undergo extensive vocal re-training to get her singing voice back and said she sounded like a "dying cow" before experiencing improvement.

Twain persevered and has a new album out; she has said, "I feel triumphant….it's like a small miracle really for me personally."

As far as Twain's judging performance, her loyal fans blasted the haters.

 Then obviously the track was dubbed over top the live performance if it wasn't in sync. Big deal!! the fake hysteria will pass after today over those who pretend to be upset. Every single act performance is dubbed and lipsynced on DANCING WITH STARS in the states and STRICTLY COME DANCING  in the u.k.    I find it hilarious that people pretend to be shocked. Not only are some clowns with no life bashing her lipsyncing but her look and her judging lol oh my Shania is so horrible and should be condemned lol lol   oh brother what fake hysteria that won't impact her negatively in any way🤤🤤🤤😲😲😲😲 in fact album took huge jump on Amazon and other formats. I don't even read losers remarks on twitter or people pretending to be Shania fans shocked lol

 Just my opinion! The administration of a fan Group should set the example! There is never a good enough reason to be disrespectful! There is enough out there! I sure enjoy coming to this site and hope to be able to continue to do so!

 I’m sorry Tommy. You called Shania awful which is really disrespectful. While this is your personal opinion, it just contradicts the objective of being a Shania fan. A die-hard fan like me will defend and fight for Shania in social media or any platforms. It is hard to accept what we used to see Shania before. We knew how she performed before but this is Shania Now. I was able to embrace her change.

Give Tommy a break people! I was saying months before the new album even came out that I didn't have high hopes for it. I have always been a fan of the Shania Twain/Mutt Lange collaboration. I was very dissapointed when I first heard "Life's About to Get Good" - it is kind of hokey sounding and nowhere near the quality of a Mutt Lange written and produced song. That being said - I liked the video for LATGG and I like "Poor Me" and "We Got Something They Don't". I have to basically view the "now" Shania like a new artist -and give her a chance based on that. I am happy that Shania released this album as it was therapy for her and she needed to prove something to herself and to others. Are her songs and her performances as good as they used to be - not at all. Not even close. But good for her for trying. There is something to be said though for quitting while you are still at the top of your game. She probably should have retired and could easily enjoy her wealth, her homes all around the world and knowing that she was a record breaking artist. My opinion only. We are allowed to have them - even on a Shania Twain "fan" site.

Tommy does a great  job here but some just thought  he went overboard
