For the last couple of months i have been building an on-line friendship and relationship with Shania, or so i thought
I was helping her with research for her charity work, i donated about £2,000 to give to the homeless and orphanage kids and we built up a friendship that was wonderful as i am just an average guy, not even a fan particulary,in UK. I first made contact via her fans page on Tik Tok she replied and it went from there
Anyway it moved on to WhatsApp and i was given two telephone numbers to start chatting
I was led into believing she has been in London the last week to sign a new contract with Sony. We had plans to meet up this weekend but it was a no show and no activity on WhatsApp since Thurs around 5pm
The phone numbers are either not being answered or calls declined
I want to know if these numbers are fake as i suspect i have been the victim of a very elaborate scam and i want to know as i cannot believe you would do this to anyone Shania. I wont divulge on an open forum what discussions went on but it all got very intense and potentially life changing for me. This has now devastated me i am a wreck my mental health is suffering and its going to take a long time to build up trust again in people i don't know
I want this to serve as a warning but more importantly i want the real Shania to know, and some acknowledgment of your concern, even if its on this forum

I’m sorry you went through this situation. Shania has made public many times the only forums which are her as well as that she will never ask someone for money.
Unfortunately, you have been part of a scam that has nothing to do with Shania.
I would recommend removing your phone number from your post. Don’t have it in such a public forum where others could find it online and try to scam again
I don’t personally know of anyone - I’m assuming others have come forward based on how Shania (and others like Reba, Trisha, etc) have posted to remind what their standard is and their official accounts.
Don’t assume that because Shania herself doesn’t answer you, doesn’t mean she isn’t concerned. I am sure her team
Is taking steps to try and limit how often these things happen by making sure her accounts are verified.
As hurtful as it is, take it as a life moment of learning and growth 💝
