I broke down the story of how Man! I Feel Like A Woman! came to become a pop culture phenomenon… I couldn’t have imagined saying that sentence when I first wrote it!! But it’s you guys who took that feeling of empowerment and celebration and ran with it 🙏 It didn’t feel courageous to write that statement in the moment - “Man I feel like a woman” but once I said it, man was it a satisfying feeling and still is! Thank you @vice for inviting me to take part in this series - It’s nice to reflect on my songwriting process over the years as I look forward with new music and the release of my new record next month!!
