A short clip I made of Mammas Donāt Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys in London on SeptemberĀ 16. Her voice reminded me here of her very early days when she did her first tv performances. Itās great to hear so much power in her voice again ā¤ļø

Smiles for miles - you can tell I had a fun weekend with you, London š¤ Thank you!! Dublin, see you tonight for the first show of our double date together š
Dublin I had so much fun with you!! The best thing about a Shania Twain show is you never know what to expect at a Shania Twain show - Taking requests, meeting lots of you and forgetting the lyrics of my own songs š #queenofmetour
Am I wrong or is she singing most of the songs live??? Her voice seems to have improved during these european dates.
She did Honey I'm Home and Number One live at least once, next to the songs she already sang live. Plus the fan requests of course. So yeah, most of the songs are live! Her voice is very strong on Pretty Liar and Inhale/Exhale AIR! And she hit an old-voice Shania note on Ka-Ching! "Can you hear it ring" (Check the Twitter/X clip above). LATGG with a fan 2nd Dublin night sounded great too! She kept struggling on IGGG though, so for at least the 1st Dublin show she used a track for that one.
A fabulous weekend in Glasgow ā¤ļøāš„ I loved every minute with you all - Thank you!! Final week of the UK & Ireland shows kicks off tomorrow⦠Manchester, are you ready to put some Up! in your Giddy?? š¤
Ewan posted this gorgeous Queen Of Me inspired outfit on Instagram and campaigned with the fans to get it seen and, well, it worked! š Thank you @primaewan, itās an honor to wear one of your designs⦠and Iām glad you approved of my Shaniaād version!! š
I wonder how she decides when to perform something live vs not. Because there are times when she doesn't perform a single note from a song, then there are times where she does a bit and then times like where she does the whole song.

I wonder that too. Maybe she knows when her voice is strong enough to sing a specific song live. But it's strange that this was the first time for this song.

Yes it's strange. Probably a technical problem. She may not even know how it turned out.

This is the impression I get.
A few months back in when she held out the mic for the audience and her track kept playing on YTSO and IOH it honestly looked like to me that she thought she was singing live and she probably was but the sound producers turned up the prerecorded track and she couldn't hear it.
The sound production is just so sloppy. I still cannot comprehend why they haven't added her lead vocal track to the mix during the chorus of MIFLAW. There's a loud track for the verses, nothing during the chorus, and then a loud track of the album version for the end of the song. It's gotten better over time, but I just don't get why so many of the songs have issues after almost five months of touring.
I also think her band sounded better during the Now tour and Let's Go shows. Everything sounded tighter and more cohesive musically. You can hear the difference in the drumming and with some of the guitar riffs. I'm hoping she adds a couple more background singers and musicians for the Come on Over Vegas shows next year.

Ā She sang Number One partially live in London and Glasgow and think she felt her voice would be strong enough to do it live completely. I'm sure she knew she sang it without a track this time because you can hear she really tried her best.Ā
About the MIFLAW chorus track: it's just so unprofessional! Most of the other tracks are fixed. On FAFO i.e. you can hear her vocal track better, same goes for IGGG.Ā

Ā Totally agree!! I feel like this drummer is just doing what feels right for her, adding extra kicks where it's just weird or missing out on kicks where they should be (MIFLAW and RTC). And still not getting the outro's right. Missing that little extra Elijah Wood had. Plus I feel this drummer uses 'lighter' drums since the sound often is hollow.
About the guitar(ist): same story as with the drum. Previous guitarist Joshua Ray Gooch had that little extra (check out Honey I'm Home in Vegas September 2022 from 55:30 onwards) ā¬ļøā¬ļø
His intro is amazing and right before the verses he does this extra 'roar' thingš . Also at 39:40.Ā
About the background singers: I think Re'Sean would sound great with background Charlotte Gibson who sang with Shania from the 2nd Vegas run on. The Scottish guy she has now has awesome abilities but outshines Shania often and doesn't have a warm voice which I think sounds better with Shania's voice.
Her voice was very strong in London and Dublin on the live songs and live parts. I think she just had the confidence to do ānumber oneā fully live this time. Sounded pretty descent as well.
I ran into a TikTok video of her show in Dublin. The guy who posted it was in the front row and "Number One" was fully live there, too She laughed after "Get the lights" so her mic was definitely open. And she sang the verses in a slight higher note, like she does with "Inhale/Exhale Air".
Two back to back nights of non stop FUN! š Manchester & Birmingham, I didnāt want the shows to end!! Custom outfit designs, onstage proposals and a number one high kick! š„ Leeds, youāre the last show of the UK & Ireland tour⦠you better bring the party!! š¤ #queenofmetour
