Shania Twain Duets with Andrea Bocelli During His 3-Day Concert Event in Tuscany: Watch
The duo performed an Italian rendition of her hit track 'From This Moment On' titled 'Da Stanotte in Poi' during his Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration concert series in Italy
Pretty sure she was lipsyncing. I could be wrong just this odd feeling
Most likely since the concert was recorded for a movie release. They want the "best" sound possible.
Yeah she was using a backing track. She never really learned how to lipsync, you can clearly tell when she's not singing live.
I completely agree. I think part of it is that her prerecorded tracks are always auto tuned (some to point of sounding robotic) and don't have any imperfections and the other part of it is the movement of her mouth is usually just slightly off. I also think when she's lipsyncing she over compensates with choreography, movements of her arms and hands, and facial expressions. All these things taken together make it very obvious.
All of that being said, I thought it was a beautiful performance and since it was being filmed and it was a tribute to Andrea Boccelli, I have no problem with her lipsyncing it.

Guys, one thing is clear . She's enjoying her life no matter what her singing limits are. It is no doubt a life lesson to many that with much less would never expose their selfs again. It is so risky lipsync in such a tenor concert!
Thank you to Andrea Bocelli for our beautiful onstage moment together, it was truly an honour to hear your exceptional voice singing a song I wrote originally to be performed with all that gravitas.
We are thrilled to share the official music video for Andrea Bocelli & Shania Twain duet ‘Da Stanotte in Poi’, a brand new version of ‘From This Moment On’.
