I was listening to the album and i can’t help but think that either ”I’d be loving me” ”that’s the money” or”take it to the river” has to be about Paul michael… their reltionship was different to other BGVS shes has: they were best friends and all of a sudden something changed and things turned bitter…
I honestly think the fact she started off the Harry styles residenc using his vocal tracks and then all of a sudden she’s back to using the YSTOLFLV pre recorded tracks says a lot. ae much as we twaniacs don’t want to admit, she was so much more confident when Paul was on stage and he heightened the energy of every show. you may not like his voice but my god he was one hell of a performer.
il dying for her to get him back so we can get actual live vocals again because from what I heard - he was coaching her too given why shes been able to sing notes she hasn’t for years.
