Does anybody know what has happened to ShaniaForums.com? Earlier today the forums weren't accessible at all. Now there is some hip-hop site. What's the problem?confuse

There were some good people who posted there, such as Bob and Rita, who also post here.  So I feel bad for them.

But the mods and admins there are asshats.  So I also see this as a definite example of poetic justice.

What goes around comes around.

This happened at the end of April for a few days as well. The owner is probably doing maintainance on it again. I don't think it's gone for good. We'll see!

Post on the Shania Boards this morning by FinnFreak (moderator on the Shania Forums): 

"CMG has replied that they are moving the ShaniaForums to another server & hope it will be up and running by the end of the week. There's also a possible virus infection in BOTH shaniaforums AND hiphopdx.com messageboards... better scan your machines... "

Even after it's back up, who is going to feel comfortable going there with it having a virus?!?!?!

Apparently The Shania Forums message board is gone for good. I must say that it is disappointing that all the articles, pictures, etc. have been lost forever but I AM THRILLED THAT THE DICTATORSHIP IS OVER!!!!!!!! I know many other Shania fans feel the same way.

A Status Update on the Shania Forums

Dear Fans,

We are deeply sorry that the home that you have grown to enjoy and love is no longer available on the Interent. Unfortunately—due to security reasons—we have been unable to restore the site as quickly as we would like, but we're still working on a solution.

Our current goal is to have the site live again by the end of September. We'll post additional updates here as they're available.

Too bad it wasn't the shaniafans one that closed.....I have never seen a place run by (especially the spock guy) people that are that delusional about Shania and where you have to say ALL amazing things about her like she is a goddess and all other country female singers are evil......all he does is trash Faith, Martina and the others.....he has serious issues....So nice that this is site is 100% free and open.

Yeah, when you have to constantly put down other singers it makes you look very insecure.  And kind of psycho.  I like Faith, and Martina, and Reba, and Taylor, as well as Shania.  There are alot of great ladies out there!

The funny thing is, I'm sure that bashing other singers doesn't impress Shania herself.  Shania herself likes Taylor, Faith, Martina, etc. So I'm sure Shania doesn't see these fans who trash other singers as being wonderful fans.  She most likely sees them as the obnoxious jerks they really are.

That's how I see it. Although one of the moderators wrote the following making it sound like the owners of the Shania Forums just didn't want to renew its registration.
