I can't stop watching.... I have a hard time concentrating on it because I don't want to miss a thing. This is giving me major Disney vibes à la Beauty and the Beast, specially when the hotel house keeping comes in and everything is moved around. No wonder it took so long for the video to come out. I don't think this was a situation of simple editing. Everything had to be perfect!

Video is amazing, period! Fun and happy, great colors, some light dancing, and MIFLAW reference- fantastic!

Regarding the clothes in the closet, I don't recall ever seeing Shania wear those but perhaps, they have yet to be worn? They both look like stage outfits or perhaps music video ones, perhaps for "Swinging". Since this was filmed in June those clothes could have also been promo photos or planned ahead. Between the late music video, "Poor Me" release, and "Swining" video shoot, there is a much more elaborate roll-out plan than we thought and gave credit for...

Always makes me have laugh when I see a negative post in here, there is always someone who has to be- the negativity fueled this Shania comeback so as she would say, "bring it on".

In my opinion, I think it was executed poorly. Minor: The storyline jumps all over the place because here she is, longing to get away and be on this tropical island, when clearly, she's already there in the beginning of the video. Major: The visual, the set, the little dancing from the background actors, all fell flat for me. Just personal taste is all. If it worked for you and you love it, then please, by all means, ignore my post. :)

Some here find it hard to just accept that people can think differently and that's OK. Everytime one blames another for being negative you only focus attention on the negative opinion and multiply negativity. If you look, there are about 50 thumb downs under the video on YouTube. It's normal that some like things and some don't.

If I understand the video correctly, the very first clip where Shania walking on the beach is her "vision." Next clip went right a way to her "house" where she received this invitation card or a leaflet from this resort and says "Need a vacation?" Then suddenly, those people from the card came to life and then they were pleasing Shania since she is feeling down about life in general. As they were arranging the house, several flashbacks went on which includes a picture frame together with her ex husband which I think is not Mutt and other items such as her dresses which makes Shania bit more excited and pretty convince. She dressed in a denim long sleeves and pants which means she is ready to take the vacation and join the resort guys. In the end, they were at the resort, dancing, enjoying the pool, drinking coconut juice or just having fun! And finally, Shania embracing that moment where she was NOW really on the beach, seeing this very beautiful view and how life is really just about to get good!

This is just my personal interpretation. hahaha. 😁

Goodbye heartbreak and hello life! Shania Twain lets go of all her issues and insecurities by heading to the South of the Border beaches for a life-changing getaway in her new video for “Life’s About to Get Good.”

Twain even lent a nod to her former ‘Man! It’s been the summer of Shania all throughout the warmer months of 2017, and she wanted to share her happier side with the release of her comeback single, “Life’s About to Get Good.” Making it personal yet relatable, Twain bared her soul as she wrote the emotionally-charged track that prompted her to make a change for the better.

“I was at home looking out at the ocean and I said to myself, ‘Here I am stuck in this past of negativity, but it’s so beautiful out. I’m not in the mood to write a ‘feeling-sorry-for-myself’ song. The LATGG music video was basically noticeable from the vibes of her previous music videos:

Shania Twain - the dancing part (in the resort) pretty much like the dancing choreography from the Dance With The One That Brought You.
The Woman In Me - solo part in her denim clothes like Any Man Of Mine. Another one is The Woman In Me where she is walking on the beach with her long shawl.
Come On Over - the MIFLAW outfit where she was in the closet.
Up! - Forever and For Always walking on the beach
Greatest Hits - Aint No Quitter look-a-like clothing in the mannequin. hahaha.

That’s the underlying message in Shania Twain‘s colorful new video for “Life’s About to Get Good.”

The clip starts off with the CMT Artist of a Lifetime waking up with a broken heart and leftover pizza in bed. Then she sits down for breakfast with a vacation brochure advertising a magical island resort called “Corazón Curado,” which is Spanish for, “healed heart.”

She finds the message and then out of nowhere, the resort’s staff suddenly appear to give Twain a makeover that takes her from heartbroken in pajama pants to drop dead gorgeous in no time.

The best part is when Twain flips an old framed photograph with her ex-husband Mutt Lange upside down and his face falls out of the picture. She even gets back into her sexy costume from her iconic “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” video.

Mathew Cullen, who is behind videos for Katy Perry, Kygo, Weezer and Beck, directed the new piece. “Life’s About to Get Good” is the lead single from Twain’s Now, her first album in 15 years. Both the 16-track deluxe and the 12-song standard releases arrive on Sept. 29.

Shania Twain Slams Ex, Pays Tribute to 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman' in 'Life's About to Get Good' Video

Shania Twain wants her ex-husband to know that her life is about to get really good -- and wants the world to know she's forgotten him forever.

The country superstar's latest single "Life's About to Get Good," Twain sings all about moving on from the relationship with Robert John Lange that left her "broken and shattered" years ago, and her new video for the song shows that loud and clear. As Twain indulges in the resort life to get away from her sorrows in the vid, she sings the line "I had to believe that things would get better/ It was time to forget you forever," during which she grabs a picture of herself and Lange and dumps him right out of the frame.

Along with shouting out her ex and dancing around happily, Twain also uses her newest video to pay tribute to one of her most iconic clips, "Man! I Feel Like a Woman." And yes, the 51-year-old still pulls that outfit off flawlessly.

"Life's About to Get Good" is the first single from Twain's forthcoming (and long-awaited) fifth studio album, Now, which is due Sept. 29.

PM is currently at #37 on iTunes country chart, while LATGG is #81. Yes, the video may help LATGG, but it still won't resurrect the single. The video release is too late to help the song I think. A video won't resurrect the single on radio. Unless what DJs were telling me is true, perhaps stations will start playing the song more now that the video has been released.

Here in Spain the song doesn't exist... But they keep on playing her old staff. I don't know if the record label haven't sent the song or what. (sorry if my english it's not correct...)

 Actually it moved up to #37 on the ac  mediabase charts in the u.s yesterday. It has only been on those charts for two weeks . Country radio is a complete joke so not sure if her label even pushed her song on there. Just listen to the crap on country radio that are top 10 hits lol airplay on country radio has nothing to do with quality, it is who produces and writes the songs and their connection to Nashville. Once again shania wrote her own songs and has used outside producers. She isn't making Nashville money because she is still a complete outsider.  And let's be honest Shania is an album sales artist and not a single driven artist,

Based on this side-by-side, I would say the "MIFLAW" outfit Shania is wearing in her "LATGG" video is a recreation of the one she wore in 1999.

Anyway, all the reviews read 'til now keep on saying it's really Mutt in the picture she turns upside down... But I don't know how accurate these info are.

If you compare his photos and especially face features then the man in the video looks pretty much like Mutt. I guess it's his hair that confuses a bit. And to be honest I was surprised to see him look so good.

Thank you Kevy, for pointing out that LATGG is not off the map entirely. It has gained traction on AC radio, jumping significantly from #45 to #37. But so many people love to jump the gun and say "The song hasn't been on U.S. Billboard charts for a few weeks" and it's such a flop. Country radio plays nothing but garbage for music. The reason why Shania's music has not traditionally done well on country radio is because her songs are good, and current country songs are nothing but rubbish. Shania's history of amazing album sales speaks for itself. The people like the music and country radio is just a joke.

Re: The Man I feel like A Woman outfit is probably different because she has worn many variations of it. There is the music video, there is the one from the Grammy Awards, there is the one from her vegas shows and Rock This Country tours. I'm not sure if its all supposed to be the same outfit, but I doubt it. She looks pretty damn good in it for 51 years old!

That is not mutt!!! lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol First of all it looks nothing like Mutt 😲 Secondly she would not be so vindictive to use his pic in a video. She has a son with Mutt so why embarrass his father many years after the damn divorce. Use your brain people!!!! Also that guy in the pic has a huge head lol
anyway anyone with any vision at all couid see There is no resemblance at all.

The outfit in "LATGG" looks like it has more of a design on the front than the one in "MIFLAW".
