Can't wait to be back in one of my favorite cities! See you at the @barclayscenter on July 14th đ Tickets available here:http://smarturl.it/STNOWBrooklyn
In the past, I've always been very serious and focused on my voice and preserving my health whilst on tour, I'm still going to do that on the NOW Tour, but I'm going to not be so serious and have more fun. I can't wait to get out on the road again â€ïž
***Allison and Cory toured together during Shania's 1998-1999 "Come On Over" tour and 2003-2004 "Up!" tour. Cory has also played in Shania's band during her 2012-2014 Las Vegas residency and her 2015 "Rock This Country" tour.

Bastian Baker just said on Twitter he has lots of big announcements coming. I still think it's going to be him opening. (Maybe it's hopeful wishing, haha).
Shania posted a NOW tour "booklet" of all the dates on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhJ0u-0nDSh/ I guess August 18 at the Barretos Festival in Brazil isn't officially part of the tour. It will probably be a shortened concert.

I just noticed the extra concert in Perth on Nov. 29 which is listed on the poster is not listed on the website like the other 2 new dates are.
One of the songs that took the longest to write on #ShaniaNOW was 'I'm Alright', which is actually a perfect example of coming out of the darkness, overcoming negativity, self-defeat, and self-doubt. It progressed and took on different meanings over time. It's probably, overall, my favorite song on the album and I can't wait to perform it live đ

After an intermission, Shania will hit the stage around 8:30pm and perform for 90 minutes or so. Bastian opened for Shania the last two concerts (in Canada) of her 2015 "Rock This Country" tour. According to one of Shania's dancers, Monica Ramirez (on her Instagram Stories video), Shania and the crew will head to Vancouver, B.C., Canada tomorrow and will rehearse there until the tour begins on May 3.
Bringing the classics back on the stage again is just as much of a thrill for me as performing the new songs. See you all very very soon! đshaniatwain.com/tour
How Can you tell how many seats have been sold so far? Is there an actual website. I am headed to Hamilton Ontario in June too see Shania, Just seeing if Hamilton is sold out
Someone posted these numbers on Twitter this morning. I don't think there is an official website where you can see the availability.
But on Ticketmaster website you can check the availability for each date of the tour
Weeks ago, I wrote to Allison Cornell on Instagram asking her if there will be "Home Now" and "We Got Something They Don't" on the setlist. Last night she answered me telling neither one of them will be on the setlist. I'm a little disappointed...

Now is the title of Shania Twainâs new album. Released last September, the record was the first new music from the First Lady of country music in 15 years. That kind of lengthy break is almost entirely unheard of in the entertainment business. You just canât comeback again. Or can you?
Twain entered the Billboard Top 200 in the top spot.Â
She was the first female country artist to hit that position since Miranda Lambertâs Platinum entered at No. 1 in 2014. Now was in top spot on the country chart and, naturally, in Canada. The Timmins, ON., superstar was back. Turns out that titling her new single Lifeâs About to Get Good was more than wishful thinking.
Back with candour, admitting how violent her abusive childhood had been, how devastating her divorce from producer Robert âMuttâ Lange was and â most important â losing her voice as a result of dysphonia (vocal cord paralysis) as a consequence of contracting Lyme disease from a tick bite. So her comeback is truly a new beginning, with her admitting that she had to rediscover that hitmaking voice.
Better yet, she is hitting the road on a 77 dates-and-counting tour that opens May 3 in Tacoma before coming to Vancouver for a two night stand. By the end of this eight month road trip on Dec. 22 in Dunedin, NZ, Shania will have performed on four continents. Itâs almost a certainty that her tour will be one of the highest-grossing of 2018.
Hereâs five things to know about the Now Tour:
1: Great reviews: Shania was always beloved by fans and label execs who probably paid off their mortgages with a cut of her past multi-platinum albums. But she might have always received more love for her insanely hooky singles such as Man! I Feel Like a Woman or Youâre Still the One. Now she has received loads of praise from critics who werenât so nice in the past. Songs such as Soldier show a singer with more depth and she has been out supporting the troops.
2: Great songs: Seriously, this woman has a treasure-trove of arena-ready hits to drop on audiences. Even if you are only slightly familiar with her material, you can almost put together a perfectly paced set list from her hits alone. She will play them, but she will drop some show stopping surprises in as well.Â
3: Great show history: The 2015 Rock this Country tour was Shaniaâs third major outing and billed as her farewell round. It wasnât expected to be, and Twain did announce her return to a Las Vegas residency before the tour had ended [no she didn't]. But it was something of a sendoff and she put on powerhouse performance with multiple costume changes, lots of lights and projections and a flying pink saddle ride for Up! The set list was 23 songs.Â
4: The NOW Tour: Twain hinted that she was going to go on the road again in an ET Canada interview in June 2017 when she was doing the rounds of Now promotion before release. The international press junket included her performance at Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park that showed her and her band in fine form.Â
5:Â The Trump Thing: If you want to be in the news these days, just get tied in with POTUS. In an interview with the Guardian on April 22, 2018, Twain said that she would have voted for Donald Trump. This lead to a massive backlash from her solid LGBT fan base (and others). So Twain issued an apology via Twitter, which spawned its own backlash. Trump commented and chastised Twain, noting that the singer âmade a mistake.â While this was big in the news cycle, itâs likely that the story fades as fast and Twainâs shows keep selling out all across the world.Â
