Giddy Up! was doing good but unfortunately the song is falling off the charts pretty fast. I don't expect this single to have a big impact on the charts. Little to no promotion like Waking Up Dreaming. Good songs though.

I think it won’t work without radio station adding the song.

We do not know the remaining songs on the album but I guess (and I’m very sad) that she already published the good tunes.

I do not understand why the radio stations stopped playing her (pop radios only Come On Over era) and now even country radios pretending she is not existing anymore though she was so big before. Only AC stations play here. But there aren’t many that’s why she is not charting.

Compared to the second single from ANOW (swinging with…) which has been #3 most added songs in country stations but then changed to another one…

Giddy Up! can make the charts. On pop and country. Maybe not the top 10 but somewhere in the charts.

I guess the album will get 10.000 sales from streaming. I really wish she is going to sell 200.000 units. But maybe I should wake up dreaming.

I’d just like to clear up that while it’s cool that her songs have topped the iTunes charts, it doesn’t matter if ‘Giddy Up’ has fallen down on the iTunes charts. That’s literally just people buying the song on iTunes which a lot of people don’t do. Has nothing to do with streaming or radio play, etc.

The new single is doing very well and a lot of people are using it on TikTok. It’s not 1999 anymore and she’s not a 25 year old pop star. Everyone needs to calm down :) ✌️

I agree she is smashing it with streams with this one. Compared to other similar artists like Leann Rimes to name one, she is doing so much better with downloads , streams, youtube views, news articles and tiktok ❤️ let’s go girl

Right now she is back in The Bahamas. I'm sure she will do other Media and TV shows while in Los Angeles at the end of the month and album release week. It's too early for anything to show up on my DirecTV on-screen program guide.

You can kinda see the back cover of the album in that video. She turns the album over and it appears the song titles will be centered down the middle. That looks much better than the way they did 'Now'. The back of that album looked atrocious lol.

GU! has moved into #4 for top Spotify songs recently streamed for Shania’s Spotify page. Much more successful on here than WUD. Almost to 3 million streams. Her Spotify listener count has gone up over 1 million listeners since it was released. Almost to 13 million average monthly listeners.

GU! sitting at #163 on all-genre iTunes chart, and #48 on iTunes country chart.

On iTunes, 71 reviews have been given to Shania “Queen of Me” album, resulting in a 3.5 star average, lower than her other albums.

Will Shania start promoting GU! on some TV shows? Time will tell. Let’s hope she does, so the single doesn’t flop. It’s doing better than WUD, but we will see.

Giddy up has done relatively well, I am struggling how the album has a 3.5 Star rating when it hasn't been released. My only question is maybe other fans can answer ? Why isn't she promoting Giddy up live? Sounds like she will release the album without any live performances and radio interviews. If that happens will the album flop? Doesn't mean the album is bad. Queen of me is one of my favorite songs that I have heard so far less robotic sounding. I expect it to be the third single and potentially her biggest hit in years if released as a single. I mean she has a huge tour which will help promote the album but she's heading to the UK in February which makes sense cause she seems to be having more success over there. Also Tommy is there a reason She wouldn't perform at the Grammys? Big platform. All I am saying Giddy Up easier could be a top 10 radio hot and maybe it will eventually but her seeing how well it has been received so far makes me question why Shania has not been promoting the hell out of it. I am surprised her New record label hasn't been pushing her too promote the single more. Number 70 in Canada seems low I expected it to be way higher on that charts. Based on the Giddy up doing relatively good I expect this new album should sell better if she promotes it. Wondering will she release another promo single before Queen of me comes out. Probably not but I'm curious as too how the rest of the album sounds. I read a comment on here that Shanias album might not be that good and she released her best songs so far we all know that ain't true. Tiktok live, Facebook live needs to be done and do it on her own. Just talk with the fans and have an enjoyable chat and ask questions. I also believe she did a few other TV interviews in the United States already and we should hear those announced soon. Good morning America I am wondering if she will appear on that show and live with Ryan and Kelly? I'll say this though I think Giddy up has done relatively good so far. Preying radio and especially Adult Contemporary plays it. Unless it might be to country which we all know it is pop/country. Regardless 2 more weeks let's see what Shania plans on doing the next week or two. At least the Kelly Clarkson show is a good show to be on. Her tour will be very successful and probably her best yet in terms of new upbeat music. We all know Shania fans go for the classics and Man I feel like a woman alone sells those tickets lol

for me “waking up dreaming” was a wonderful pop song. And also the reminiscence with Cindi Lauper and Prince was a good move. I was expecting the press to talk about it.

why radio is not playing her? Absolutely no idea. sure music style has changed. Waking up dreaming would have been a top 3 hit in Germany (back in 2004) I think the sIng has a wonderful vibe.

i saw in the adult radio analysis Tommy sent few days ago that WUD had quite low listeners in ratio to the plays. If the stations see that people switch when the song is on probably means the song is not what people want to hear.

i guess yes she is icon. her album will chart high. (probably Now only reached the top 5 due to concert tickets sold which counted as 1 album (wasn’t it like that)

the impact shania had end of the 90s unfortenately wasn’t big enough or missing hits.

I expect Jimmy Fallon at least and the Ryan and Kelly show first. In Canada there isn't anywhere to promote live so pre recorded interviews are more likely. The promotion is good Relax people more interviews and announcements to come. Queen of me will do fine. In Canada she will go to number 1 anyway. I mean now sold decent in Canada and this music is better. So it should do better. One other question I thought billboard cut out CD sales from concert tickets? Maybe I'm wrong

Sounds like she'll be in Los Angeles until the album release on February 3 and then fly to the UK. Jimmy Fallon's show and "Live with Kelly & Ryan" are in New York City. We know she is taping an episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" in L.A. on January 30 to be aired that week. Maybe she'll be on a late-night show in L.A. like Jimmy Kimmel or James Corden.

Melissa you are right. Bill ours no longer counts Album sales through bundles with concert tickets.
At least that’s a way to really see how much shania will sell.
I was expecting 700k first week of now.
Just hoping she makes the 100k with queen of me.

If I’m not wrong she sold 11k in the Uk first week and came to number one.
Sales really went down. Up did 400k first week UK!

That’s right in the UK and US ticket bundles are not allowed anymore. With Now that really helped getting her the #1. But quite convinced the longevity of this album will be longer than Now anyway.

GU! continuing to perform well on Spotify! Over 5 million streams, and is number 3 on her most listened to songs right now. Almost 14 million monthly listeners as well. Shania’s team is either paying for pay, with promotion, or people are really liking it, or could be both.

I can't see Shanias team paying for Play on Spotify or can you pay ? I have had the song on repeat 100 times a day in Canada. Giving radio a few more weeks to see if Giddy up has moderate success on radio airplay. Personally Giddy up has done well regardless of what some might say. Country radio should be embracing it because it is the most Country thing Shania has released since up. Maybe some pop flavor but have you seen what the male country artist are releasing? Rap and Pop most including most of the female singers. I think because the album is so uptempo sales will be good. I expect Queen of me to go to number one in Canada as for the USA it depends on how Sam Smith's album sells in his second week because his first week will be pretty good to maybe impressive. The Queen Of Me song should be the third single and hopefully a good music video. I am surprised they haven't released it as the first single because her voice sounds amazing but you can't tell in the first 15 second of a studio clip. Also curious why hasn't the song length of play for each song hasn't been added yet and small samples of each song. Is that how it works when releasing music? Promotion wise besides a few Magazines and some TV interviews there has not been heavy promotion but I expect next week Shania will be busy. The question is does she go back to the UK before it gets released which seems like a smart move or does she go a day or two after the release? Sales wise again I hope I am correct should do better then the Now album because both the new singles did way better then the first two on Now. Doesn't mean they were huge radio hits but the second single is certainly doing better. The excitement I have for the new album is extremely high because it seems to have so much energy and Shania has a lot of confidence in the album even her New record label. Once it reaches the public it should take off selling. Now I don't mean it will but I'd be pretty surprised. Any thoughts anyone?

GU! continues to pull in decent streaming numbers. Shania is over 14 million listeners average now on Spotify. GU! to 5.4 million streams so far. Country radio is not playing GU! Perhaps XM radio may, but XM doesn’t report back to top 40 media base country charts.
