She is definitely promoting this album, I just feel left out as a Canadian as we don’t have any of these special options with the digital covers or special note recording. I would probably purchase the karaoke version. Also waiting to see if she release a deluxe edition like it was mention from an insider… 5 or 6 additional tracks.also curious to see if the target tracks will be release digitally tomorrow. My guess is that they are waiting for the hard copies to be sold out or for sales to be down.
...Finally, the artist behind the best-selling country album of all time, Shania Twain, debuts at #5 on the Albums Chart with Queen of Me. This marks Shania’s sixth top 20 album in Australia, with three #1s: Come On Over in 1997, Up! In 2022, and Now in 2017.
Okay I think I did a mistake. I purchased the karaoke digital album on the site, and later realized this was mentioned below "DIGITAL DOWNLOADS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE U.S."
Does that mean I will never get my download??? How come that's not available for everyone!
Queen of the Official Chart! Shania Twain secures third Number 1 album with Queen of Me
Let’s go, girls! Shania Twain is Waking Up Dreaming today, as she secures her third Official Number 1 album with Queen of Me.
It was a two-horse race to the top against RAYE all week, but Canadian country-pop icon Shania succeeds in reaching the summit with her sixth studio LP. Prior to this, Shania enjoyed UK chart-topping success with Come On Over (1998) and Now (2017).
With fewer than 2,500 chart units in it, London-born singer-songwriter RAYE enjoys a Number 2 debut with her much-anticipated debut album My 21st Century Blues. Her first body of work released as an independent artist, My 21st Century Blues includes RAYE’s recent Official Number 1 single Escapism., and was the most-purchased record in independent record shops this week.
Shania just crossed 15 million listeners monthly average on Spotify! She’s never had that high of a number. Also, GU! remains at number 3 of most streamed songs of Shania last 24 hour average. It’s almost to 10 million overall streams.

17k in sales. Better than NOW, which had tour bundle deals back than 👍🤠
Wow! I’m Waking Up Dreaming in London! Queen Of Me is the NUMBER ONE album in the UK!! 🥹 Thank you to everyone who has supported the first week of this album being out in the world! I’ve been waiting and waiting to share this music with you and I’m glad it’s finally being heard - this is just the beginning and I can’t wait to see these songs live a long life!
It’s a really different time in the music industry, different to my previous experiences of releasing albums and it feels like it’s harder than ever to be heard - which makes this NUMBER ONE feel so frigging great! I love this record, it makes me feel good and I hope it makes you feel good too!
To my UK fans - you guys have been so fabulous throughout my career and continue to make me feel loved. I’m going to have a BLAST singing these new songs with you on my tour in September. So until then... “CHEERS MATES!” 😂 Love Shania x

That's awesome! Do we know how many units NOW sold its first week in the UK?
Omg I'm so happy for Shania, she worked so hard for this, well done fans!
Shania if she will go and sing GU on TV shows, album will spent time on the charts.
Now fingers crossed for the Billboard charts!
I was expecting Queen of me to chart higher. Now entered on 12 2017.
But I was just following Apple Music sales. Also Australia i was expecting more.
I see a lot of potential in the album but I’m afraid it will fade away out of the charts.
When there are no hits strangers won’t buy or stream it. That’s the new now.
Anyway excited where it will chart in other countries !
Queen Of Me will debut at #10 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top Country Albums chart with 37,238 Sales Plus Streaming (33,282 in physical sales). It’s the highest debut of the week. Physical sales of Queen Of Me are the second highest of any album sold this week. Its streaming numbers are the lowest in the entire Top 50.
Unfortunately, knowing female country music on charts (since technically Shania falls into the country category), she's going to drop off hard next week and I don't see it making a rebound. Hope she at least performs some of the songs live in the coming weeks.
I am overjoyed that Shania has reached number one in the United Kingdom and number five in Australia. I'm guessing #1 on both countries' country charts. She is such an icon and deserves this so much. It is one more beautiful moment to celebrate. I mean, she started with "What Made You Say That?" when I was 5 in 1993. Thirty years later, she still pulls number one, and so many people around the world love her.
As for the United States, I do not care that much anymore. I am just really shocked that the "Billboard" article spread false and misleading information that Shania, Harry, and Beyonce are battling for #1 just to get extra attention for the article. Instead, none of them are ranked first or even in the top five. All these artists who are on top now and ruling the charts just by streaming—let`s see where they are in 20–30 years. Many will be forgotten. Shania is still selling arenas.
If she was confident in her voice she would have 💯performed at the Grammy’s. Unfortunately she decided to rely on silly attention seeking gimmicks like her outfits. So yes, her ridiculous got her attention albeit all negative it certainly isn’t going to translate to album sales. She is a singer with a new album she needs to actually sing her songs on award shows and talk shows.
the promotion period of the album is a mystery to me. Released the first single in Sept 2022 with low profile promotion and the other single in early Jan 2023.
then she spent so much to have some breaks in Switzerland again in between. If she is not confident to perform the new singles in front of the audience, why she didnt spend more time to practice and rehearse?
I am quite disappointed that WUD cant be a hit, its a very good song to me. However, the music video is really not a nice one and is just another low-budget video.
The video of GU is a joke to me. The intention is too too too obvious - learn the steps and post your video on Tiktok. Why they couldnt make it more subtle way.
and why she didnt spend some time to learn some steps and dance a bit in the video? You want the ppl to dance with the your song, but you dont dance? I dont get it.
I am totally fine with her new image. It's a way much better than NOW era, many looks in NOW era are disastrous.

I think it is up to her to decide what she wants to do. She still has a number-one album in the UK. And to be honest, judging by what people in the United States are listening to, it is even better that she spend her time in the UK instead of doing useless promo in the States. You might agree or not, but singers in the United States are suffering from ageism like in no other country. Radios do not even play her music, so one or two extra performances would not make her number one.
Is there any performer who is older than 40 or 45 and still enjoying enormous success? No one comes to mind.
Stop this nonsense. Grammys typically saves performances for nominees unless there is a special dedication performance (such as the hip hop tribute during this year's show), and Shania wasn't nominated.
I've been her fan since Woman In me years. Mainstream pop music is dead. Most ppl don't care for it these days. Here she is trying to make an album that sounds like everything else in the top 40 from the last few years that could be done by Katy Perry or Taylor Swift. Even many of the melodies and lyrics are really repetitive like new pop music and not as complex and dynamic as her 90s stuff. The melodies are more catchy than regular top 40 these days, but the production is meh..just sounds like background soundtrack and nothing memorable like her 90s music with a whole variety of instruments and guitar solos riff and sounds you can replay in your head. Top 40 producers these days suck big time. music these days are so forgettable, in a year nobody would remember . She just needs to figure out what she wants to sound like, , show the new generation how it should be done , make music that has attitude and personality, something she used to do well, and not just chasing the trends like other 90s diva.
i've been a fan of shania since the late 90s. i like the new album a lot. it's such a real "feel good" album. my biggest fear was a Long Time that it would be a sequel to now ( even if i think it was important for shania to make music without mutt in the development). I think shania was very aware, just with the release of now, that times have changed and it's difficult to pick up on the old days. as well as? After all, shania has achieved everything a singer can achieve in its best dreams. when you've been at the zenith, the potential fall height is just great. but shania still delivered a very successful performance. we're talking about a 57-year-old woman (of which there are hardly any successful musical examples of the same age) in a very youthful music market. maybe as a fan you should also cool down a bit. I can't understand most of the criticism. the change of the label and the strategy seemed logical to me. In The Last September alone, WE could See that the focus was primarily on Great Britain. lots of promotion dates, additional tour dates. now we see the fruits of that work. and would rather fight for a realistic number one than wasted costs and effort in the USA, where she Had No real chances for a number one debut. it still doesn't change the fact that shania fills stadiums and has always been one of the most successful touring artists, espacially in The US. this is where most of the money is made these days if you don't belong to the streaming generation. so I don't worry about her. And regarding her new outfits. some say "oh wtf" and others love it. when you listen to shania, you know, despite the fact that she is a very beautiful woman, she has not felt comfortable in her own skin for such a long time. so let's leave shania lucky enough to feel so comfortable that she can wear whatever she wants. and that is also the spirit of her new work. she now does what she really wants to do. we as truly fans should be able to deal with that.
Well said, agree 100%. It’s a common thing I see with fan base to criticize every little thing and to never be happy. The thing with Shania is also in the early days ( TWIM, COO & UP) her gold was to be a global superstar and she did it. She worked very hard to attain that. Now she’s just enjoying herself and having fun and there is nothing wrong with that. She gave us a great album. I haven’t been able to listen to an album on repeat like i have with QOM. I was even surprised yesterday that my boyfriend played it on repeat 4 times as we don’t often Listen to the same stuff. Even my cousin last night said that she started listening to the album for the only purpose of getting her self familiar with the new songs for the tour (she only wants the classics) and she surprisingly loves the album. Let’s let her have her fun and stop nit picking every little thing.
SZA’s ‘SOS’ Jumps Back to No. 1 for Eighth Week Atop Billboard 200 Chart
Plus: Shania Twain's "Queen of Me" debuts in top 10.
By Keith Caulfield | Billboard | February 12, 2023
Shania Twain closes out the top 10 of the new Billboard 200, as her latest studio album, Queen of Me, debuts at No. 10 with 38,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 34,000; SEA units comprise 3,500 (equaling 4.92 million official on-demand streams of the set’s tracks) and TEA units comprise 500. Twain previously visited the top 10 with Now (No. 1 in 2017), Greatest Hits (No. 2; 2004), Up! (No. 1, 2002), Come On Over (No. 2, 1997) and The Woman In Me (No. 5, 1996).
Queen Of Me debuts at No. 2 in Switzerland and No. 4 on ITunes France (now No. 38).
Shania Twain "Queen Of Me" album is 96th in the Top Album France (SNEP), just ahead of Raye, as in the UK. She was 56th with Now in 2017. Not terrible so...
Number 2 in Canada is in my opinion very frustrating.
Same as in Switzerland. As she lives in Switzerland she should extend her tour to other European countries. That would be fair.
I don’t think the album can climb up the charts unless a wonder.
