I wonder why they are announcing it so far in advance. I mean I know there's tickets but still. I hope we have a new album months before then.
I doubt there'll be a new album before then. This might be a pre-release type of promotion with a new single. They also announced Lainey Wilson for July 12.
Shania Twain, Lainey Wilson to headline P.E.I. country music festival next summer
Cavendish Beach Music Festival announces first big names for 2025 event
By Shane Ross | CBC News | July 23, 2024
Country superstars Shania Twain and Lainey Wilson will headline the 2025 Cavendish Beach Music Festival, organizers Whitecap Entertainment announced Tuesday.
The news comes just two weeks after the 15th annual festival came to a close in the Prince Edward Island tourism mecca.
Twain will perform on Thursday, July 10, and Wilson will take the stage on Saturday, July 12. Tickets for a one-day Thursday pass start at $190 plus, and a one-day Saturday pass starts at $164 plus tax.
Festival tickets are available now from the Cavendish Beach Music Festival site.
The native of Timmins, Ont., is the top-selling female country-pop artist of all time. She has won five Grammys, sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and, at 58 years of age, shows no signs of slowing down.
In 2023, she kicked off her sold-out global Queen of Me tour, which was one of the Top 10 highest-grossing country tours of the year.
Her hits include Any Man of Mine, That Don't Impress Me Much, You're Still the One and Man! I Feel Like A Woman!
Wilson, 32, who hails from Louisiana, will be making her first trip to P.E.I. She is the reigning Country Music Association entertainer of the year, and also acted in Season 5 of the hit television series Yellowstone.
Wilson won this year's Grammy Award for country album of the year with Bell Bottom Country.
The performers add to a star-studded list of CBMF alumni. The festival has in the past hosted Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley.
I hope to have a new album by 2025 Fall, and this could indeed be a pre-release type of promotion, like she did back in 2017 at the Stagecoach.
Or it could be the first announcement of a Canada mini-tour like the one she did in UK & Ireland this Summer.
I'd LOVE to have her headlining a Festival here in Italy after the whole Bocelli experience this past week.
This is the biggest Country concert in the Maritimes every year.. and tickets sales never disappoint... this is a huge money maker for PEI- they always announce the headliners not long after current year's festival.
You best believe I got my family & I tickets today as soon as it was announced! This will be my 4th time seeing her in the Maritimes-- I was at the 2014 concert last time she was in PEI, Halifax last year & WAY back in 1999 when she was in Moncton, NB.

Let’s go, girls (and guys); Shania Twain is coming to Prince Edward Island next summer
According to a news release from the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, multi-Grammy winner singer Twain will headline the 16th edition of the event in P.E.I. July 2025. She will be joined by CMA Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson.
“We have always championed female country artists across all of our stages and are very proud to be featuring two female headliners in 2025,” said Ben Murphy, CEO of Whitecap Entertainment, in the release.
Twain will perform on July 10 and Wilson, who will be making her first visit to Atlantic Canada, will close out the festival on July 12.
This year’s edition of the festival featured more than 50 acts, including the Zac Brown Band, the Brothers Osborne and Tyler Childers.
On Shania timeline I don’t expect nothing more til end of 2025 or beginnings 2026 at best.
We’ve got too much since Queen Of Me release: -5 bonus tracks -Anne Marie duet -yung gravy duets -Spotify sessions -bocelli duet -twisters ost -beauty beast ost
Is something else I’ve forgot or coming soon?
She’s always talk about a Xmas album and a duets album but never arrived.
Rest 2024 I think it just for vegas dates and maybe 4-5 extra shows like she did on Abu Dhabi and 2025 she will maybe record new music and do some festivals and Summer dates.

Green Day, Shania Twain, Def Leppard and more headed to Ottawa Bluesfest this summer
The 31st edition of Ottawa Bluesfest returns to LeBreton Flats Park in 2025 with a diverse array of headliners
By Lynn Saxberg | Ottawa Citizen | February 25, 2025
It’s going to be a sweet year for Bluesfest as Ottawa’s biggest summer music festival unveils a program that casts a wide net in its ability to lure patrons.
American punk trio Green Day, Canadian country queen Shania Twain and British hard rockers Def Leppard are the biggest names on the wide-ranging slate of headliners confirmed to appear at this year’s event.
“We’ve always got something for everyone,” said Mark Monahan, the executive and artistic director of the event. “But this year is well-rounded, too.”
The 31st edition of the music festival runs from July 10-20 in its usual home at LeBreton Flats Park on the grounds of the Canadian War Museum next to the Ottawa River. It features four stages devoted to live music, three of which are outdoors and one inside the museum, plus two smaller DJ stages.
It will mark the first Bluesfest appearance for both Green Day and Def Leppard, and the second for Twain, who set a record in 2023 to become the festival’s earliest sellout.
The country superstar is one of two repeat headliners on a program that also features Bluesfest debuts by Irish hitmaker Hozier, country darling Lainey Wilson, hardcore punks Turnstile, rock band Papa Roach and Canadian electronic producer Kaytranada.
You have to reach way back to 2008 to find the only other artist of this year’s lineup — dancehall-reggae star Sean Paul — to previously appear on a Bluesfest mainstage.
“After three decades, it’s unrealistic that you’re not going to repeat some acts, but you try to book acts that are relevant and have not played the market in a decent amount of time,” said Monahan, who’s also a co-founder of the event.
It was not an onerous job to fill in the lineup this year, he added, partly because so many acts are planning to tour this summer.
The key was to start early because “a lot of the headliners and bigger acts are planning further out,” he said. The first offers on Green Day and Twain, for example, were submitted a year ago.
Your first opportunity to buy full-festival passes is a one-day presale that runs from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Feb. 26. The basic, general-admission pass is $299 plus tax, available at ottawabluesfest.frontgatetickets.com
Single-day tickets and VIP tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 27.

I am admittedly a little confused about this summer tour. Is it an extension of the Queen of Me Tour (so same setlist) or is it something else? I know we don't know yet but I am curious what others think.

Must be basically the same setlist of the Queen Of Me tour and Come On Over residency combined.

Shania Twain, Mark Chesnutt to headline upcoming concerts
“These two shows will be huge for the Moose Jaw community.” - Corey Nyhagen, assistant general manager, Temple Gardens
By Aaron Walker | Moose Jaw Express | March 19, 2025
MOOSE JAW — Two major country concerts will take centre stage at the Temple Gardens Centre — formerly the Moose Jaw Events Centre — this summer, bringing fans an unforgettable mix of legendary hits and new performances.
The first concert will showcase classic country music by Mark Chesnutt, with special guest Aaron Goodvin on Saturday, June 28.
The second show, featuring five-time Grammy winner Shania Twain, will be a one-night-only performance on Monday, July 7.
Corey Nyhagen, assistant general manager of the Temple Gardens Centre, expressed his excitement for both upcoming shows.
“These two shows will be huge for the Moose Jaw community,” he said. “We’re thrilled to welcome Shania Twain for her only Canadian show — outside of her festivals — and Mark Chesnutt’s performance brings a taste of traditional honky-tonk country.”
Mark Chesnutt
The Temple Gardens Centre will host Mark Chesnutt on June 28, with a special guest performance by Aaron Goodvin, known for hits such as Lonely Drum and Country Dance.
“We’ve been working with Mark’s team for a while to bring this show to Moose Jaw,” Nyhagen said. “It’s a great fit for fans of that old-school, honky-tonk sound, and we’re excited to have Aaron Goodvin join us for the night.”
Nyhagen explained that the idea for Chesnutt’s performance came after a series of successful concerts in 2024. Inspired by the positive reception, he began planning another summertime concert with a focus on classic country music.
This came together when Chesnutt’s team had a gap in their schedule for an upcoming Dauphin, Man., show. Nyhagen and his team reached out and, after the teams co-ordinated their efforts, they also secured Aaron Goodvin to play the opening act.
Tickets are available now at SaskTix.ca, TempleGardensCentre.ca, or in person at the Temple Gardens Centre box office at 110 First Avenue Northwest.
Shania Twain
The Shania Twain concert is expected to be one of the biggest events of the summer, with the country superstar bringing her renowned “video bridge” stage setup, similar to what she has used during her Las Vegas residencies.
“It’s a massive production,” Nyhagen explained. “We’re working hard to make sure everything is in place for such a big show. While the show will take place on a Monday, we’re exploring options for pre-concert activities, to take advantage of the space at the curling rink once it’s free of events.”
Twain will be joined by country artist Lindsay Ell, known for her hits including Criminal and Want Me Back, who will also perform that night.
Twain’s concert is set to be a spectacle, and Nyhagen hinted that more details about the show would be coming soon. He also noted that the highly anticipated performance marks the only Canadian stop outside of her regular festival performances.
“It’s an honour to have her in Moose Jaw, and it’s going to be one heck of a night,” he said.
Tickets for the Shania Twain concert will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 21, at 10 a.m., and will be available through SaskTix.ca.
“This is another great opportunity for Moose Jaw to enjoy live country music in an intimate setting,” Nyhagen said. “It’s going to be a memorable night with plenty of classic country hits.”
Building on the success of last year’s shows, Nyhagen emphasized that this summer’s concert lineup promises to deliver an equally unforgettable experience and is part of a push to bring more high-profile acts to Moose Jaw.
“Last year, around the same time, we had Clint Black and Carolyn Dawn Johnson join us right around the end of June as well,” Nyhagen said. “It was very well received by the fans who came out.”
The Temple Gardens Centre is located at 110 First Avenue Northwest.

'To me, it's once in a lifetime': Shania Twain fans flock to box office as ticket sales go live
By Cameron Koch | Discover Moose Jaw | March 24, 2025
The Temple Gardens Centre box office opened Friday morning at 10 a.m. and fans were lined up in anticipation, awaiting their chance to pick up a ticket to Shania Twain’s upcoming concert in Moose Jaw July 7th.
The superstar’s visit to Moose Jaw is generating quite a buzz amongst country music fans across the province. The line up on Friday morning included some dedicated long-time fans, including Bonnie Smith, who arrived just before 8:30 a.m. to ensure she got her ticket.
Smith, who saw Shania Twain live in Saskatoon and during the artist’s Las Vegas residency, has fond memories of Twain’s past performances.
“(Shania) is such a people person! She brought a couple of girls that were in front of us that were from Calgary, one of them was celebrating her birthday, and she brought them up on stage.”
She recalled that by the end of the concert nearly 10 people were up on stage with the singer, gathering around together, singing and making for quite the show. Smith recalled speaking with some of the concert staff after the event wrapped up, and the glowing reviews given by the staff helped solidify her fandom.
“When we were leaving, I spoke to some of the people who worked there, and I said something about how she's so awesome and this gal says to me, ‘You know what? We're going to miss her because she's the nicest, kindest person there is.’” said Smith.
“I thought that said something, that the staff said that about her.”
Smith said that she grabbed a number of tickets, and that she plans on taking her friends, her daughter and a couple others with her to take in the show.
Barb and Fred Kasper were among the crowd waiting for the box office to open. Barb has been a fan of Shania Twain from the beginning, and Twain’s stop in Moose Jaw will be her first time seeing her live.
“I can’t wait for the show,” Barb exclaimed.
“I’ve always wanted to see her, and I’ve got her CDs at home, I watch her on TV, you know, I just love her.”
She was among the first in line to grab a ticket, two of them in fact, one for herself and the other for her husband. The pair will be attending the show together as a gift to themselves ahead of their 25th anniversary in August.
She said she was most excited to hear Shania’s 1997 smash hit ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ and couldn’t wait to tell her family that she had secured her spot at the show, expecting no small amount of jealousy.
“I mean, how often do you get a chance to see a big-ticket item come to Moose Jaw and get a chance to go? To me it’s once in a lifetime.”
Fred noted that it will be refreshing to see such a big show at a venue that is basically in their backyard, noting that big events typically only stop in Saskatoon and Regina.
Barb said that she is already looking forward to the summer and being able to walk over and see one of her favourite artists so close to home.
