Hi Tina and all. I so enjoyed reading all the posts and the banter back and forth. It was nice. Tina the pictures of the lake are beautiful. Actually all of the photos are nice. Is the Shania twain centre big? Anyway I hope everyone has a great day.
i'd say that is big enough, they have all kinds of shania stuff there, many outfits and shoes. the most interesting for me it was those sheets of paper with shania's handwrting from her original lyrics,it's amazing looking at those and find out for the very first time that most of her songs was quite different at first, some had even different titles, but i guess something wasn't good enough and they dedice to re write or change the lyrics.

That is interesting that lyrics were changed...maybe to better suit the music? I thought the STC was big too. Did the two of you meet any of the fans that were there for the convention. I can't remember if the convention was still going on when you were there.

some of the lyrics were totally different than what they became later.
the Convention usually takes place in August and it lasts around 4-5 days,so no we didn't met any other fan there. but we had a great time anyways

Perhaps when we met with Terri (another great Shania fan) we should have taken a photo of us when we were at the Kit Kat as it was two blocks from where we stayed. A nice Italian place with a decent atmosphere as were the other restaurants on King street.

yeah,it slipped my mind as we had to make it to the CN Tower. next year we will, and maybe we go to Dakota tavern again, another decent place, the band was kinda boring but the whole place and atmosphere was nice and friendly

Definitely. And that Dakota Tavern was a nice place, I like the barrel seats and hopefully they'll have a better band next time, these guys were not too country. And they had Kathleen Edwards two nights before.
thanks for asking, well,Kit-Kat is a nice restaurant with Italian cuisine, kinda expensive though. many people were wearing suits there having their launch.

is that a public course or do you have to stay a the resort
hmm, good question because i 'd like to see the show some time without staying there, but i think that you have to be a guest there. we never really asked but seeing all those 'rich' guys there having also a room that would be my guess.

I'm not sure about the show, but in the past I went with my buddy to play the course and we did not stay at the Resort. So I at least know that you can play golf without staying. And they have two different courses.

thanks Christina i would like to see them,do you or 2nd know what it costs a night to stay at that resort?
yes, unfortunelly we know by experience,is not cheap at all.
we payed more than $200 for a night and be careful don't make any phone calls they charge more than other hotels. and the rooms don't even have a fridge, nor breakfast included in the price. but i have to admit that the place is gorgeous.

what did the flight cost you from greece,(if you don't mind)i now the prices have gone way up because of fuel
oh,it was a pain ,ha ha i booked the tickets on-line and from Athens to Toronto and then back it all cost me around 850 Euros, not that much if you think about it. but we had a stop in Paris and then the Air Canada plane had a delay so i was in Canada 4 hours later. next time i will go to London and then straight to N.America,is cheaper and no stops in between.

we here in connecticut have the highest taxes in the country,i was in Scranton several years ago,boy everything was so cheap, stayed at a holiday inn for 35 dollars a night and you could request a small refrigerator for free
